That's the thing about renting that I like the most. Every month I pay my rent (no bill), Electricity (on line, no paper bill), phone (on line, no paper bill), cable & internet (on line, no paper bill), and whatever co-pays I might have along the lines of medical. And that's it other then my credit card (also on line). I've written exactly two checks out since November 2014.

It will get even worse for real cash.
Considering that cell phones can now generate codes and special codebars (to scan in stores to pay instantly).
Id say Credit cards arent even need now!

It's a combination of several different flavors like barbecue, vinegar and jalapeño. Supposedly the the result of an accident. They're very tasty.

The 17 year cicadas? Yes, I was in elementary school. I remember. Gym teacher freaked when one got stuck on her back. They were everywhere.

Dial up? We had it until 2009. Got rid of it when I went to high school and we got new computers (my mom refused to put dial up on the Windows 7 desktop). My parents still use an AOL email address (though I got my mother her own Gmail account a while back).

Something funny about the weather..
You know you live in a very interesting town.. when the guys who forecast.. almost NEVER get it right.

The hurricane is now a tropical depression and again the mountain range is shielding us from wind and storms. it has been sunny (despite the supposed torrential rain forecast) for 2 days now lol

Thank you, I am much better. My grandmother on dad's side was native American, from the Blackfoot Tribe....I think those genes makes me stronger.

My ex's father was full blood Blackfoot. His grandparents were born in a city on the reservation out west.

Good morning I'm up early as there's lots to do today, last 1/2 day for the boys. Tomorrow they'll only be in just long enough to count heads and pass out report cards. I'm having nightmares about the upcoming food bills. It's going to be a busy summer here as James aka my baby has signed up for swimming lessons (not sure why as he's part fish) and a science class. So between that just hanging at the pool and a summer reading competition no rest for me! Busy or not I LOVE SUMMER!!!!!!!!!! Heat, humidity and mid-day rain bring it on!

And, in other news...

It looks like we may actually have a WDW trip comin' up...!
The girls (both DD's and DWifey) are wanting to participate in the Disney Princess 5K (along with myself and DS ) this coming February.
And yes, if running/walking a 5K is what it takes to get me to WDW, I'm VERY OK with that...'cause we do that and more during a day in the Parks anyway...!!!!!

Which hotel will you be at? We are staying at the Sequoia Lodge. We will be there a week from today!

We are actually staying at a Hilton offsite which is like 30 minutes away. Kinda far but I got a really good deal.

However, I am kinda having a change of heart and thinking about looking at some close places on airbnb. But for now, keeping my current booking.
