Sorry to jump in but needing help and looking for opinions.

We've had a Sam's Club membership for 10 years. It just expired and a Costco opened today in our town. I checked it out - still torn. Anyone out there who has done both, can you give opinion on which you prefer and why? Costco has better quality (it seems) but not as much quantity for the price of Sam's (so far as I see)... Thoughts?
pretty sure it depends town to town..
while in one of the main cities of my state.. Sam's as always been consistently better.
but in my town.. costco is way better in almost everything.
including lower prices.

but honestly, they feel like a tradeoff... one has something the other doesnt and so on..

Yowza that was a beauty.
It was 4-8 when Hubby and I went upstairs. 11-8 when we came down. Thank goodness for rewind!
I was at our home game. I always look over to the right field board where they display other scores, mainly to see how other AL east teams are doing, but also to see if there are any interesting scores (ie. Seattle vs. Houston, where Houston had a lead of 9-0 by the bottom of the second) inning. I looked over and watched the score change from 5-1 to 8-1 Red Sox and said, "Wow, Boston is trying to make up from their last series." Then later, I looked over and saw it was 8-4 and said, "Toronto is trying to stage a comeback." As it turns out, I was right. And this is why in baseball, it ain't over til it's over. Dunno what happened with the Sox tonight.

Interestingly enough, your franchise has only done this five times in its history, and one of the other times was also at Fenway.

A few of my dh's cousins got together a few years ago for a week long trip after we raved about the food on our trip. Well they got back and asked how could you live on hot dogs and hamburgers for two weeks:eek::rolleyes::arghh: We offered to help them make ADRs and loan them a few planning books but they declined. They didn't even realize PB's had a toppings bar!:rolleyes::arghh::banghead: More for us LOL. Some people laugh because I plan do far in advance, but it really feels like we are going with the flow when we get there!

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered, but what kind of a camera are you using? These have all been amazingly clear, well composed pics.

Also, I'm not falling for your little old lady, going to bed at 8:00 schtick ever again. You are clearly a very vibrant, energetic, not so old, lady after all.
Guess that makes me the frail old lady that goes to bed at 8pm!

It' a Canon SX 710 HS. I pick the picture compositions. Hubby does the camera work. It's a team. As far as age, we have been really lucky with the weather, it was overcast the last few days with a nice breeze. Easier to do more. And an afternoon maragarita doesn't hurt.

What's really sad is that Baltimore City is still recovering from all of this. The tourist areas are all fine (Inner Harbor, Camden Yards, Fells Point, etc.) but in other areas, small businesses still haven't reopened, there's been an increase in crime, and many are leaving the city. The city has had to dip into their rainy day fund. It's quite sad. I would not wish it upon anyone. I hope everything in Texas stays peaceful.

. . . and many are leaving the city. That, right there, is heartbreaking.

@betty rose , I am thrilled with the outstanding pictures you have been sharing with us!!! They are awesome! It's very hard for me to pick my favs from each set you share, but one of the pix that caught my eye this morning was of the exquisite tile in Cinderella's Castle. I love those beautiful mosaics inside, and it's amazing how many people just quickly pass through and don't even SEE them!!! :banghead:

So, before I hopped on here this morning, I spent some time browsing on store sites. One of them I have to mention here to both @MOXOMUMD and @StarWarsGirl95 -- if you pull up the Kohl's site, at the top you'll see a tab to click on for STAR WARS merchandise!! I clicked it on and was surprised at how much stuff they had!! I mean, this was just your basic, usual Kohl's and didn't expect to see this fun new section they've introduced.
Go check it out--shirts, costumes, figures, all kinds of stuff!! Enjoy!!! :cat:
