Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Sunny morning today. Lot's of thunderstorms last night, with hail, dime to quarter size. Got to go out and look at the car. We were caught in it, coming home from our oldest grandsons graduation. So proud of him, he got a academic achievement award, a technology award, and was valedictorian. He spoke at the graduation, along with another classmate. Did a great job! As I said he was very shy, and came out of that from the many trips to Disney, talking with the CM's. They brought him out of his shell. Disney is the best!
Where will he attend college?

If it's even half as cool as the Johnson Space Center in Houston, I'm sure we would...! ;) :)
Went there last when both our DD's were still in Girl Scouts. Got to see the original Mission Control, among many other cool things. :)
For a brief 18 mo. period from '66-'68, my pop worked at the Redstone Arsenal/Marshall Spaceflight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. He even attended a lecture by Wernher Von Braun. :)
We went to JSC when we were little and had an awesome time.

Clive Swift as Richard Bucket (pronounced "bouquet" ;) :joyfull: ) in Keeping Up Appearances.
Actually, it was pronounced Bucket. It was that sweet wife of his that insisted it be "bouquet". I really like the show for awhile, but, before to long all I wanted to do was reach into the screen and strangle the woman. It did have it's funny moments because she was always caught in her "appearance" situations.

That's my daughter, she wants to be a geologist.
My daughter majored in geology in college. At one point she did a summer field trip to California where they did measurements and tried to determine what point Los Angeles was going to be passing by Seattle. I don't think she has looked at a rock since then. She went into the Computer Field. The art that she learned when doing her work/study projects in College. Funny how life works sometimes.

Really? I didn't know that the mini-golf was included with the WP Fun and more add-on. I had this option on my tickets and I think I might have had about 5 times I could use either the water parks or DisneyQuest, but I didn't know the mini-golf was included. That's good to know for next time. Because I usually stay at the Swan, I think one of the mini-golf places is very close to the Dolphin (which is right next to the Swan). I'll have to check that out next time! :)
You have to cross the street to get to Fantasia Gardens but there is a crosswalk. :)
