I cant believe they charge that much for a cut in the US.
We think its expensive when its above 10 USD mark here. (for a standard male cut). my older stylist used to only charge me 5 USD (55 Pesos)
but.. 100 USD???
thats like 1,100 pesos.. you could a lot of stuff with that.
My hairdresser adds $3 because my hair is so long. (Down to my butt.) It costs a whopping grand total $15 for a haircut.

Yep. After time the cotton in towels do build up oils, you'd think we use them when we are clean right? Bleach will cut the oils however it also shortens the life and thickness of towels overtime. Ammonia cuts the oils and a cup in the wash does the trick and makes the towels fluffy. Also if you ever have towels or clothes that get that damp musty smell it will remove that odor.

I put combs and brushes (outside) in a tightly fitting container like rubbermaid covered in ammonia. Cleans them like new. Just have to be careful with ammonia as the fumes can knock ya out.
When I put ammonia into a washing machine, it is always the last thing I add before quickly closing the door. And of course never ever use ammonia anywhere bleach is. A deadly combo, even grocery stores place those two items far away from each other.
Great information. Good to know that you can't combine them. I had never heard that. Thanks.

So true on all accounts. The one thing that always frustrated me was that men's pants not only come in waist sizes, but also length sizes, but not women's pants!! I always have to get pants shortened when I buy them. :banghead:
Waist sizes, yes, but not length. They assume that if your waste size is anything above a 28, then your legs are about 60 inches long and work full time for the NBA. The sizes do not often match the reality. Apparently wherever they are made has a population of extremely tall people. They also way overestimate the circumference of legs as well. I'm a big guy, but, I usually can fit both legs in the same pant leg. I hate that! I don't want them "pegged" like they were when I was in high school, but, at least a little closer to reality. So, I have my own favorite tailoring place and usually for less then $10.00 I can get them to at least look like they fit. I don't mind that so much if I buy off the rack at say, Walmart or Target, but, when I pay top dollar for them at other places, I do not want to have to pay extra just to wear them the first time.

I'm still not able to find a way to care. Especially if it's my own body oils. I know I don't have cooties, so why be concerned. Just one more thing that the cleaning material companies have convinced the public that they need to be concerned about. If they can't scare you, they won't sell as much. I've never heard about anyone getting sick due to body oils, theirs or someone elses.

I use bleach on whites, I was going to buy ammonia, and put in washing machine. I was glad for the heads up.:)

What hair I have left does need an occasional trim. The place I go to charges $12.00 (if it's cash, but, only $12.50 if not. That's standard rate not just the wide part kind, like mine). That includes hair cut (any style), brow trim, shampoo and shoulder massage. They have peanuts as well and some very attractive young ladies that actually do the hair cutting. (oh, yea... and a separate TV in every barber location.)
They just went up from $11.00 a few months ago. I was some upset! ;)
see? another person that agrees that we get charged for finding hair, not to cut it.
