And since we were talking about Samantha Brown earlier I thought I would add something...when I went to bed last night I saw she was the home shopping network selling a line of her travel gear. Samantha was selling a travel bag set, she had me almost convinced that I needed it (but I don't'). So after being mesmerized by it for about 20 minutes, I quick flipped the channel! I think the only thing stopping me from buying the bag was two things....I was too lazy to get out of bed to get my credit card and I didn't want to move my dog as she was already sleeping on my leg and she was comfortable. I'm really glad I escaped Samantha Brown's spell last night!

I saw that on TV a long time ago....I just pour one can of beer after rinsing my hair...don't rinse out the beer. Dry and style. Oh, your hair doesn't smell like beer when dry.;)
You sure or are they just to polite to tell a lady that she smells like a brewery? Just kidding... I have heard of that, but, I always thought it was pretty heavily diluted with water. Doesn't really matter I don't have enough hair left to waste a beer on anyway.

So I need help from the ladies or single men (sorry married men but you don't do laundry if your anything like my grandfather). He's 83 and did laundry for the first time a few months ago when my grandmother was in the hospital, really had no clue what he was doing. During that time, I had to 'show' him how to make coffee. They have a K-cup machine.

But my work clothes (I wash them separately) have stains on them after washing/drying them. I don't see any stains before washing them. I looked it up and people said that there is probably too much detergent going in the wash. But the question is how do you get the stain out if you can?

SHOUT it out! Use the gel and not the spray. The spray might as well be filled with air for what good it seems to do. Then don't use to much detergent.

2. Floating flowers in the water behind Spaceship Earth and the overhead monorail

Per your comment above to Gabe about hair, it gets even pricier when you add color. I have to really budget for times when I get my highlights done. Why can't my hair just be naturally beautiful? :banghead:
I cant believe they charge that much for a cut in the US.
We think its expensive when its above 10 USD mark here. (for a standard male cut). my older stylist used to only charge me 5 USD (55 Pesos)
but.. 100 USD???
thats like 1,100 pesos.. you could a lot of stuff with that.

We have been trying to get my folks to upgrade their 15 year old desktop for years but Noooooooo

Well a month ago one of my folks did something, nobody is fessing up and mega virus problems. So we used this opportunity to unplug the puppy and order a new desktop. We had it delivered here and my DD set the whole thing up here including the new wireless printer. This time buying a printer that has ink that is easier to find too.

Anyhow this is a bigger monitor and one of those towerless units So just a monitor and printer. This is going to be so much better for my folks.
adult people are always afraid of change.. my parents did. They refused to upgrade their machines because they dont know if they had to relearn everything. Until they noticed everything was almost the same.. they calmed down.
so I know the feeling of having to deal with these..

I am trying soap for now because I don't have Shout Gel. I tried using the spray. It works for some things, not everything.

Rick Steves for Europe is on and I feel like donating so I can get the gifts that you get for donating. I also like the show too although I do get depressed.

God bless them for their generosity in time and compassion. As I watched the weather mayhem in Texas on the news, it dawned on me just how quickly, and without warning, people can lose everything--not to mention loss of life. It is at times like this that the helpful assistance of complete strangers goes a long way to help those affected. Just when I think that society has gone down the tubes, I hear upbeat stories about decent people helping out one another, and my faith is restored again in humanity.
Amen
