One more week until their visit.

We have that this weekend...air show. Which it has been around since 1991 and I haven't gone to. Watching planes fly around doesn't do it for me.

Kudos to Anheuser-Busch once again. A-B again suspended beer production to run batches of canned drinking water to send to Texas and Oklahoma. A-B has done this multiple times during state of emergencies and great to see the corporation has stepped up for these states too. :inlove:

If you recall, all of New England except a few people were complaining about last winter snow after snow which it only snowed for a month and a half.

Now people are complaining about the lack of rain. For example, it says the airport near me has only received a half inch of rain all month. Though it might rain today.

I meant to post this the other day but I'll post it today. But people are crazy. $39,000 for a 3 year old birthday party that she is never going to remember. And to think, it would have been more if he didn't own the place he had it at.
It's going to cost more then that if Disney decides that using their characters without permission has happened. Protect the brand is important to them and those depictions of Mickey and Minnie are hardly flattering.

I always thought (during their earlier band years) that John was the most handsome in the group. Then, I thought it was a tie between George and Paul.

@Goofyernmost , I think the biggest reality check for Paul was not from the most recent revelation he shared, but rather, back when he turned 64. The song, "When I'm Sixty-Four" must have hit him hard at that time . .
Wasn't that about the time that old "one leg" decided that she was OK with taking his money, but really didn't want him hanging around anymore? He found out that she didn't still need him, wouldn't still feed him, when he was sixty four.

I still think he's cuter than Ringo!
What the hell isn't cuter then Ringo. He has not aged well, but, at least he has continued to age. That's pretty good for rock stars, especially drummers.

Happy my BlackHawks are moving onward with the goal to bring Lord Stanley home once again. I've been watching the news and a good chunk of the news is related to our Hawks, no surprise.

Still, a tanker exploded on highway, no explanation yet, very near Ohare Airport carrying 8500 gallons of fuel in the wee hours of the morning. That story was deep into the newscast.

I have to travel that road to drive to my Mom's later this morning. We shall see, bet that pavement is a bit singed.

We have been trying to get my folks to upgrade their 15 year old desktop for years but Noooooooo

Well a month ago one of my folks did something, nobody is fessing up and mega virus problems. So we used this opportunity to unplug the puppy and order a new desktop. We had it delivered here and my DD set the whole thing up here including the new wireless printer. This time buying a printer that has ink that is easier to find too.

Anyhow this is a bigger monitor and one of those towerless units So just a monitor and printer. This is going to be so much better for my folks.

I didn't know that A-B did this. It makes me like them better. I really don't like their beer AT ALL, I can tolerate Bud Select, but Bud-light YUCK! I do like when big corps give back though.
