The Chit Chat Chit Chat Thread

Mr Ferret 75

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.
Oh hon, I was here when I was your age and I turn 30 next month. 🤣 I don't want anyone to go dig up my old posts.

Okay thanks but enough about me. What’s everyone having for dinner tonight?
I don't know; that's too far ahead. 🤣

I haven't talked about it publicly, but I had my gallbladder out almost three weeks ago after a couple of months of being super sick, so I kind of have a weird relationship with food right now and still am pretty limited in what I can eat. Right now I'm eating pancakes at *looks at watch* almost 3:30 pm.

There's leftover soba noodles in my fridge that I probably should finish, so that's probably going to be my dinner. That's the only thing I've been wanting lately and I will probably continue eating them until I can't stand the sight of them anymore. 😂

Anyone else ever read their earliest posts and cringe? I’ve been here 2 months and I’m already doing it.

My first post here on this site was on October 3rd, 2012, and I would have no clue how to even find it. But, by that time, I was already pretty experienced/familiar with Internet forums, as the first forums I ever posted in were on another Disney site, that I joined back in May of 2007. Those forums are now long-defunct, but I do remember how my first post kinda’ went, which was good, as I introduced myself and was just trying to make conversation.
I didn’t dive into any of the more, potentially, edgy threads on that site until a few months later. 😉
Funny thing is, in regard to my first post on that old site, I would have already been less than a month shy of turning 44 years old, at the time, and it looks like you weren’t even born yet…!!!!! :hilarious: 😉:)

You think that’s bad. try walking around Epcot when it’s 90 degrees outside in summer.

No, I don’t think it’s bad, at all, actually.
I was just comparing it to other folks weather that wasn’t as nice, recently…!!! :)
We can walk around Epcot in 90 degree heat all day long, as we’re used to heat like the below, here in Central Texas…check out that real feel underlined in green…!!! ;)

Yea, we’re not out doing major exercise in heat like that, but we will walk to our neighborhood pool, which then feels like bath water…!!!!! :hilarious:
Also, as I’ve posted before, our cars are parked outside, because our 2-car garage is full of stuff, so we hafta’ wait about a minute after we open our car doors for the heat to dissipate before we even get in to start the car and turn the A/C on to max…!!!!! 🤪🤣
So, Epcot to us at 90 degrees, is, literally, a walk in the park…!!! ;):)
