There is no quick service at kidani. You can get breakfast without having to make a reservation at sanna and the soda machine is in the lobby but no dedicated quick service.
I feel like they used to at some point...

Maybe it was a while back. I'm getting to the point where I remember things that were there 20 years ago and am like "wait, that's not there anymore?"

The Disney wiki doesn’t mention a closed restaurant there.
Ah ha ha...found it.

Their QS location is their pool bar for lunch/dinner. I do remember that because I stayed there when Mara was closed. I think maybe that's where my memory of them having zebra comes came from. Their current menu just lists assorted stuff for dessert, so it's possibly a toss up.

A lot of the deluxe resorts have a pool bar that functions as a QS location. Yacht/Beach have Hurricane Hanna's. Poly has several locations that have hot food (I usually go there because of my stupid pineapple allergy...I can eat more off of the pool bar menu). Contemporary does in addition to Contempo Cafe at their main pool.

It just didn't sound right to me that there would be no place over there to get food... it's a decent walk over to the Mara.

Thanks. I didn’t know that.

You poor things down there with your palm trees and 60 degree weather. 🤣

Meanwhile, @ajrwdwgirl got like eight inches of snow yesterday and here in MD, it's in the 40s. We're getting a 60 degree heatwave next week.
I had rain to snow yesterday, but didn't stick to the sidewalk. We had less than a half an inch of snow, but had winds of 45 to 50 MPH. Temps went from 43 in the morning to the 30s in the afternoon.

Haven't been to WDW in approx. 5 years; but the last time, they had Zebra Domes in the QS, The Mara, over in Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Hence, I just now looked up current menus for The Mara. You'll see below on the link -- (on both Lunch and Dinner options, under Dessert -- scroll down menu past Kids Meals for Dessert) they list Zebra Domes as one of the desserts available. :hungry:

Ahhh, yes, the glorious Zebra Domes…!!!!! 😍
We got them from The Mara when we stayed at AKL in Oct. of ‘23 and then on our most recent trip in late June/early july of last year, when we visited AKL on a non-park day (I wonder why one is missing…?! 🤔😉)…!!!!! :hungry:

Hey, @Mr Ferret 75 , I was just reading that a favorite (old-time) food on Guernsey is called bean jar. (It's served for breakfast.) Do you and Mrs. Ferret like bean jar, or was it more popular with past generations?

I like a good beanjar . It is definitely not breakfast. It's a lunch or evening meal.
