Won't work for him. He's a heavy sleeper. He'll start snoring, I'll be shaking him, and he snores on. I generally have to shake the heck out of him several times before he even wakes up enough to flip over. He wouldn't feel the little vibration of a smartwatch. I have one, and I wake up...I'm a light sleeper. But he's not.
See...at that point, this is a him issue. I say this as a heavy sleeper. He's become dependent on you to be his alarm clock because he knows if he sleeps through it, you'll wake him up.
Oh no, his alarm clock usually wakes him up just fine. It's just that he left his phone in the hallway on the banister instead of next to his bed like it usually is. It does always take him a bit to wake up...his alarm starts off quiet and then builds. But he always does wake up. This time it was just that he had forgotten to bring it in and so he couldn't hear it. But I'm such a light sleeper that I heard it, even in the hallway. No one else woke up and our rooms are all connected to the hallway, but Ella and Alex both sleep with their doors closed. But I'll sometimes hear their alarms inside their rooms before they do.
We've got about 4 1/2 inches today -- unexpected, as we were only supposed to get 1-2. It's been snowing off and on all day -- supposed to stop around 6. Looks nice outside!
Good for you since you love it. We ended up with a bit less than 2 inches.

About 20 minutes ago, he had a funny segment with a guy (a seller) who wanted to pound down the gavel when his car was sold -- But -- Matt had to keep holding him back, because the guy was so excited to sell the car, and almost pounded the gavel BEFORE the auction price became official !
Still inconsiderate and a him issue.
Fortunately I was looking because I had a feeling...no one understands right of way. 
Probably all Honda driversI swear, people have lost their minds because there's snow on the ground. I have seen the absolute WORST driving this week.
I was backing out of a parking spot, and there was this woman who was sitting there waiting to take some else's spot who was leaving. She was completely blocking me in as I was trying to leave. I honked hoping she would hear and backed up slightly. Leaned my head out the window. Honked a bunch more times. Totally oblivious. Finally after about three minutes of this when I was about to get out of my car and be like "da heck lady?" the person parked next to me was coming to her car and says something.
Then, immediately after this, I was about to turn right, and a person turning left in the same direction cut me off.
Then I'm driving behind someone who has a mostly deflated right front tire. I'm like, how do you not notice that!
Then I'm driving today and a pedestrian jumps in front of me. I'm like, do you have a death wish? Also another person came charging through a parking lot, horn blaring...also apparently does not understand right of way (no one does...you see the pattern here).
That's just some of the bad driving and poor paying attention from pedestrians.
