Why not get a Fitbit or smart watch? Those vibrate on your wrist so that they don't wake up other people.
Won't work for him. He's a heavy sleeper. He'll start snoring, I'll be shaking him, and he snores on. I generally have to shake the heck out of him several times before he even wakes up enough to flip over. He wouldn't feel the little vibration of a smartwatch. I have one, and I wake up...I'm a light sleeper. But he's not.

See...at that point, this is a him issue. I say this as a heavy sleeper. He's become dependent on you to be his alarm clock because he knows if he sleeps through it, you'll wake him up.

I'm a heavy sleeper, but if I know I have to be up and I'm with others, my watch can wake me up so I don't disturb everyone around me. I set it early and have it go off more than once, but I trained myself to wake up. If he's got hearing issues...he needs to figure something out besides making his wife his alarm clock.

Oh no, his alarm clock usually wakes him up just fine. It's just that he left his phone in the hallway on the banister instead of next to his bed like it usually is. It does always take him a bit to wake up...his alarm starts off quiet and then builds. But he always does wake up. This time it was just that he had forgotten to bring it in and so he couldn't hear it. But I'm such a light sleeper that I heard it, even in the hallway. No one else woke up and our rooms are all connected to the hallway, but Ella and Alex both sleep with their doors closed. But I'll sometimes hear their alarms inside their rooms before they do.

@donaldtoo I saw a bit of Friday's Mecum auction, and really liked this 1949 Chrysler Town and Country, woody red convertible. Link below with some fun photos and deets. I think it sold for about $145K.

Yea, the classic/antique customs are fine, but it’s the restored-to-original of same that really get my blood pumping…fortunately, I did remember to take my BP meds this morning (I don’t always ;))…!!!!! :hilarious:

Oh, and where’s “The Hat”, @MinnieM123 …?!?!?! 🤔😁:hilarious:;)
He's there! Saw him yesterday and today. He's wearing his black hat this weekend -- maybe the white hat he saves for spring and summer auctions?

About 20 minutes ago, he had a funny segment with a guy (a seller) who wanted to pound down the gavel when his car was sold -- But -- Matt had to keep holding him back, because the guy was so excited to sell the car, and he almost pounded the gavel BEFORE the auction price became official ! :hilarious:
