Curious! This problem with the time change seems to be common. I can't remember ever having any adverse reaction to any time change in my life. And I've seen a few of them. What exactly is the problem? You got an extra hour to sleep on Sunday. It seems like losing that hour in the fall would be more of a problem.

No. It was actually one hour less on Sunday…
Spring forward, fall back…we lost an hour…!!! ;)

I'm glad that's over! Now, just rest, watch movies on TV, and eat a lot of chicken!!
Thanks.

I had more than Chicken for dinner. The chicken place had side dishes in terms of breaded mushrooms, French Fries. and onion rings.

I was extra hungry since the instructions for today before the tests included eat light meaning something like toast.

My bad, that is correct. I guess because it has never been a factor for me, I just got the two switched, but even then it was on a Sunday when the majority have no place they have to be.

I just made myself depressed by adding up how many of these changes that I was even aware happened. I was probably around 12 or so before I was really aware of it (that was for my parents to deal with up until then). Considering my current age and adding forward and back I have been witness to 126 of them.

We were once told that the reason was that there was some kind of connection to the behavior of farm animals or something similar dealing with farming. But, it never made sense to me. Whatever the official reason was it is totally unnecessary and should be dropped like the bad habit it is.

Opposite. We lose an hour in the spring. We gain an hour in the fall. I have no problems adjusting in the fall. This adjustment in particular has been a drag...

…ask me about the ID story when I have internet again!
OK, so yesterday we get to the airport in plenty of time, no bags to check, no line at security. Amazing! We sit and pass the time until boarding starts. We'd rather board later than earlier (less time in the airline seats!) As we're getting our stuff together to board, I realize I can't find my ID. I frantically look through my wallet, my bag, my pockets. I figure I must have left it at security. I run back to security, leaving my bag with Brian so he can keep looking. I told him to go to the gate and tell them what was happening. I thought we had a decent amount of time.

I got to security, asked a woman what to do. She was very helpful, took me over to the lane I think I went through, but it was closed. There was a place she could check for lost items and it wasn't there. I wondered if we were in the correct lane, and she suggested I could ask at the others. I said to her this was so weird, because I remembered throwing my ID into the security bucket. In fact, I remembered throwing it into my shoe so it wouldn't...get...lost...

I take off my right shoe, hopefully. Nope! I take off my left shoe - and there it is. D'oh! I run back to the gate and they were holding it open for us, everyone else had boarded already. Nuts! Batty start to a very fun overnight trip. We are now about to board to go home. I should have internet on this one (fingers crossed.)

I'm very full. Definitely going to the gym tomorrow!

Just documenting in case you don’t hear from me. Landed in Fort Lauderdale, booked a Lyft home, some guy at the exit door said he was a Lyft driver and could take us now instead of waiting 11 minutes.

We got in the car. I figured he could transfer our ride to his account. Instead, he canceled it using my phone.

Anyhoo, Brian and I are in the back seat. Two guys in the front seat, and I realized how stupid this was. Could end up getting robbed or something. Not an official Lyft ride.

Or we saved 11 minutes and 5 bucks.

Have a magical night!

At the time I posted that, I didn’t know what was going to happen. When we got home, Brian said the same thing: why two men in the car, and what if they had guns or something?

Totally stupid.
So glad the ride turned out o.k. for you guys. (Whenever crazy stuff like that happens, but has a safe ending, I always think of Archie Bunker's quote, "God watches out for dingbats!") ;)
