At the time I posted that, I didn’t know what was going to happen. When we got home, Brian said the same thing: why two men in the car, and what if they had guns or something?

Totally stupid.
Here is how real life works. Today it can be said that it was not too bright, however, if you learned from it and are careful in the future when you get my age you can think back on it and say, man I was brave back when I was young. Had no fear of anything. It becomes a legacy at that point. Doing that is one of the very few perks of old age. In the mean time keep it on the down low.

It's true! I met my husband on the internet....today, I would not dare to do this, but back then, internet was rather new, and there weren't a whole lot of internet dating sites. (I didn't meet him on a dating site) But now, with all those sites and people catfishing, it's no longer safe. Back when we got together, it was rare that people fell in love with someone they met online. It was relatively safe. I still took precautions like meeting in public places, etc. But I don't think you can even be vigilent enough these days because there are so many people actively looking for vulnerable people. It's not just meeting someone and having a lot in common and meeting up. It's people PRETENDING to have a lot in common with you to lure you in. Internet is a predator's paradise! Back when I met my husband, it was just as likely that you would meet a creep on the street than that the person on the internet was a creep. I've been harassed many times by creepy guys who happened to be in the same place I was. But now, all those creeps can act anonymously online without anyone noticing their behavior. It's easy to hide. And new technology breeds new scams and new ways for predators to access victims. It's pretty scary.

Yeah, that's really a "cliff" 😂
Mine gets lost under the sofa. The skirting around it doesn't seem to stop it when going under but becomes a massive obstacle when trying to get out. It just wanders around under it (which is good because it usually is a good thing to clean up), but then starts to whine before it just shuts down. Worse than a little kid.
