Don't get me wrong because I do understand the many reasons why people don't eat meat, but I always have to ask exactly what those animals truly exist to do other than be the food source for the human race? Friends? Not very useful ones. They don't cuddle up and sleep in your bed, if someone were trying to kill you they would just stand there and watch until they decided to walk away.

If left on their own by now we would be up to are armpits in useless livestock that do nothing more than contribute even more manure to the surrounding areas, which, by the way, would also be up to our armpits. Thousands of ranchers would have nothing to do, billions of dollars needed to supply us with the things we need to survive would be gone, not to mention the money to clean up the manure and an incredible amount of methane gases that destroy the ozone layer. All happening because of the literal massive amount of animals with no purpose and no control that would cover the planet. It almost seems that meat eaters are accidentally environmentally the leaders in doing everything necessary to not need to have an Asteroid crash into the planet in order to control the animal population. When you think about it, we are hero's that are attempting to save the planet from oblivion and all because we like cheeseburgers.
