I found out one small business had a black Friday sale, but I didn't live close to it. According Sara's Artisan Gelato's facebook page, they had a Black Friday sale of 25 percent off all purchases including pints of their gelatos at their Green Bay Location. They do have great gelato based on my experience visiting their summer location in Door County back in June.

Good and bad news: wanted to support a local store I go to every year on Small Business Saturday, but every parking spot in that area was taken -- at 9 AM! So, good that others are shopping locally, but bad that I could not go to my favorite shop today.
(Also causing the parking issue in that area, is that there's construction and road work -- they've temporarily removed about 40% of the parking spaces, until the work is done.)

@Goofyernmost , I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving with your family. (I know that one daughter hosts Thanksgiving, and the other daughter hosts Christmas for the family.)

OMG! That's a big surprise. I'm sure your new home will be nice. (Too bad you couldn't get the architectural firm to build you one of those mega-homes with pools, etc..Wow, things are movin’ fast around here…!!!
Yesterday we locked in the sale of our house, and just a few minutes ago we locked in the purchase of our new (to us) next home, that’s within walkin’ distance of Megan, Daniel, Emmy, and Audrey’s house…!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, they might have given you an employee discount, if you asked nicely . . .)

Yea, pretty sure I coulda’ got the employee discount, but we don’t need nearly that much space…!!!!!
The new place is definitely nice…!!!
MIL will have a nice bay window in her bedroom, the washer, dryer and refrigerator are included, the front and rear yards are great, there are 2 live oaks out front, the house looks almost new, in and out, etc.
We (our agent) offered the seller 13K below asking price, and they accepted without a counter.
Plus, we have the advantage of cash, because we have A LOT of equity in this home…!!!

I didn't need anything today but all my canning supplies come from the local hardware/almost general store a does quite a few of my sewing supplies

Thank you Minnie, yes, we actually had a great time and ate way to much. Next stop Christmas Eve dinner and family gathering followed by independent Gift trading and dinners at noon with the youngest and the other at around 6 ish with my first born. Ham at the first and Prime Rib at the second. I have to pace myself on Christmas day because of the duel celebrations/major meals. I'm curious about how that will all work out if I get to the point where I can't go from place to place. Oh, well, I guess I just won't think about that right now,

Texas game was good. Not happy about Michigan.Wow, Michigan beats Ohio State for the 3rd year in a row…!!!
And Texas beat Texas Tech yesterday, for an 11 and 1 record, 57-7…!!!
Even with Head Coach Harbaugh suspended pending investigation, MI still won.
