E's very good at helping with the cooking, but she has school until 5pm 3 days a week, 4:10 one day, and the other day she gets out at 3 something, so she's not in a whole lot better boat than I am, especially when you take homework into account. I've been starting a load of laundry in the morning before I go to work, switching it over when I get home and start a new load, which I then switch again in the morning. We're doing our best. But then, I haven't started at the new job, so I'm still only working 20 hours a week. That may not work once I start the new job. We'll survive!
Good luck but I was mostly thinking about the eldest male child that works 40 hours a week;) Have frying pan will travel:angelic:

Thanks, everyone for the good wishes for the new job. I'm sure it will be fine, and it's closer to my house than my current job, so that's a plus. Have I missed anything huge here? @StarWarsGirl , did you find a new job? @Cesar R M , how's life in Canada? @Figgy1 , is everyone finally healthy and mobile and all that? How's college going for James?

I feel like it's been forever!!

Well, he'll take care of dinner if I ask him, but his version of taking care of dinner is usually to order out, or to do Deep fry stuff, or pizza. Not particularly healthy. So if I want vegetables, I have to rely on E. Right now I have leftover potato soup, and I'm the only one who has to work tomorrow, so I can have them cook tomorrow. We'll get it all worked out. It will just take some time to get used to a new routine.

THNX for asking I'm fully mobile (knocking the ferret's head), dh is down to one PT session per week, James is carrying a 4.0 and other ds exceeded expectations last evaluation:joyfull: My canning/freezing is ahead of schedule this year and one more weekend of "summer" produce at the farm market tomorrow as we haven't had a frost yet:inlove: I'm picking up 10 pounds of cranberries today but am holding out for a better price/sale for the rest. This year I'm making orange cranberry sauce as usual and in addition last year I made habanero cranberry sauce as I had both in abundance which wound up being a huge hit with everybody so this year it's in my regular rotation for gifts and home.

Do you have a slow cooker that you can fill the night before and turn on in the morning on your way out? There's lots of healthy recipes for those on the interweb
