Had to call out from the new job today because I was not making it another day by how I was feeling, they saw how sick I was yesterday and the best part about it is....I wont get in trouble for it. Target would have thrown the book at me even if they saw me throwing up in their TM bathroom.

Under those circumstances he's more than excused for being wrong. Lots of prayers and pixie dust the surgery goes smoothly and he recovers quickly!

Thanks. The Surgery happens on November 20th. He was told that he only would have use of 1 arm for anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks although I read online the surgery recovery time is 4 to 6 weeks. Dad making Thanksgiving turkey is out of the question due to only able to use 1 arm.

Dad has a lot of stuff that he wants done before that surgery.

It is not going to be that hot for the next 4 days, but there is a possibility of 3 or 4 straight days of 70 degrees or higher. Tomorrow is supposed to be 78 degrees.

Getting colder here in the other hand. We have had sub 10 temps (in celsius) for quite a few.

I had to go breakfast food shopping when I came home, and behold they had the new Dole Whip. Too expensive than I would normally buy for that kind of snack but I bought it just to try it.

For those who want a frozen fruit ice cream...it's good.

I'm guessing Team Member. Just another stupid idea from some high paid morale advisor thinking that employees will be more engaged if you just make it sound like a game. That's instead of more money, of course. I was always of the opinion that if you gave them the money you spent on hiring and outside advisor, much more would have been gained. I felt, and still do, that type of "team" building was childish and demeaning. Probably why I was never wealthy.
