9/11 tomorrow + 22 years…
Again, 3 people we knew died on that fateful day.
Jennifer, in charge of the guest book at our wedding, her husband who was also there, and Charles Burlingame, pilot, on the plane that hit the Pentagon.
I hung out with him in the cockpit of an AA plane for about a hour during a layover here in Austin way back in the day.

I saw the Haunted Mansion movie today at the cinema. I liked it, ties in well with the ride at MK. Has anyone else seen it?
I'm sad. It came out while we were in the US going to Disney and Universal, but I didn't want to take time out of the parks to go see it and the times it was playing at DS didn't work for us with ADRs and such anyway. We intended to watch it when we came back, but our theater here must never have gotten it, or it only played for a very short time. It's only playing once a day in Arnhem, and I can't get there at those times because of my work schedule. So I think I'm going to have to wait until it's out on DisneyPlus.

It's a shame you missed the Haunted Mansion, hopefully it will be released on Disney+ soon. At least you had a great holiday in the US.

Prices are definitely good on all the knock-offs.

However, I have some hesitation about the Olay (skin moisturizing) brand versus the knock-off. Most of the ingredients are ("mostly the same") as Olay. But, I'm not a chemist, and can't comment about any of the knock-off brand's substitutions. My other general concern is about quality control, which depends upon how and where the knock-off items were manufactured. (If Olay, for example, actually made the knock-off cream and put it in knock-off packaging, that would be o.k. Yet, the fact that some ingredients differ, makes me pause.) The knock offs could all be perfectly fine, but I usually tend to question (any) items that reduce the price. That aside, most brand names overcharge on their products.
I use the Lidl version of Nivea Q10 face cream, both day and night. To me it seems and feels exactly the same only the Lidl one is £1.50 while Nivea is at least £6. I actually buy all my toiletries at Lidl because of the price and good quality of their items.

October 4th in the colonies. I'm almost certain worldwide in time for Halloween
Yeah, I just saw that on Disney Food Blog, but you never know what the schedule is going to be for outside the US. We never did get Flight of the Navigator, for example. And we still can't add Hulu to our packages, so I bought the DVD set of Golden Girls, and then they put Golden Girls on standard Disney+ here.
