I've been to WDW twice in September. Once, years ago it was like the surface of the sun. I went again about 4 years ago in mid-September and it was beautiful. Warm, but not oppressive, and low humidity sunny days. There is no way of knowing what is in store on any given month in Florida. From cold that required them to ice over all the orange groves to melt your eyeballs in the shade. It is a very moody place. When we used to go in August we used to just sit around the pool all day and go to the parks at night for that reason. We still do that now that we go in September, but at least the highs are more like 90 and it's bearable walking around during the day, so we spend some time in the parks during the day. Plus it's cooler at night in September.
I've got a number of vinyl discs dating back to the 60's, (mostly Beatles). Problem is I have nothing to play them on anymore. It doesn't really matter because I have them all on my computer (via CD's) and I mostly only listen to the massive number of pieces that I loaded on a tiny, postage sized unit (the name escapes me at the moment, but it looks like a very small floppy disc from the 80's), for my car which is where I listen to most of my music. I still marvel at how much can go on those things. Right now, I can put on my media system in my car and drive to WDW and never hear the same thing twice. That's over 10 hours of uninterrupted music and I have only used 30% of space at this point. I have reached the age where I have to turn the sound down if I'm looking for something. For some reason my brain thinks that the sound will interfere with my vision or ability to maintain concentration. What's old is new again! Vinyl has made a comeback over the years -- as @Tony the Tigger and @Figgy1 can attest!
I'm sorry to hear that, have you any clue what happened? If need be can you go to a hotel until the problem is solved? Good luck!!!!!!!!

It's an old unit, unfortunately. Hubs was able to find someone to come look at it today. THANKFULLY we have a window unit in a room in the front of the house to cool parts. Fingers crossed for just a repair and not a replace!!
We have very good friends that live right around the corner from us who we'd definitely be able to stay with (and they have a pool-BONUS!)
