I just finished watchin’ a YouTube video called “10 Things You Didn’t Know About Animal House”.
Actually, I knew all 10, but, it’s crazy that that movie was first released 45 years ago…damn, I’m old…!!!!!
The one story about that movie that still cracks me up is the deal Donald Sutherland made for his short appearance in the movie.
They offered him 20K plus 2% of the box office. He thought the movie was gonna’ go nowhere, so he just wanted 35K up front, and didn’t care about the 2%. Bad move. If he woulda’ taken the initial offer, he woulda’ made over $4million off the flick…!!!!!

I am grateful that I have lived long enough for my grandkids to be grown up or the youngest at 12 is to cool for such things as birthday parties. Maybe I'll try to hang around for the others to have kids but that would make me a great grandfather, not that I'm not great already.Thank you…!!!
Granddaughter’s deserve some spoiling for their birthdays…!!!

I suppose birthdays just take on different names, like my oldest grandchild (23) just got his first full time job in his chosen career last week. I guess that makes him a certified grown up.

Don't feel bad, I haven't either, but then I again I don't look for jewelry. Also I didn't remember them advertising on tv.

Yep, my folks and MIL love their great granddaughters very much, and they visit together often…!!!!!
If I was to live as long as Mom and Pop, I would hopefully see some great grandchildren too, but, that remains to be seen…!!!

I guess that I have a step great grandson now. His mother is my son in laws daughter from his first marriage. But, I haven't seen her for over 20 years now and she lives in Chicago. However, that did make my youngest daughter a step grandmother already. I don't think she is overly fond of that title simply due to the age implication.

My step grandmother wasn't overly fond of the title either. Especially since she had a newborn and became a step grandmother six weeks later (my uncle and oldest cousin are the same age). We always called her Nonna because she said it didn't sound too old.
