Did y’all see Chicago yesterday? That was bad!!

Wednesday was actually a bit better than Tuesday. Tuesday, my dd was staying with a friend in Chicago, and they walked about 15 minutes. My healthy, non asthmatic dd said when they got inside, she realized her lungs hurt. Today is hot, humid, and still bad air quality, but a little better. Rain keeps bouncing right over us, though.

Yeah after seeing it in the Cubs stadium, I wouldn’t want to deal with that if I were you.
Combined with heat - ugh!

I don't understand why they still played with the air as bad as it was. A lot of expensive lungs on that field.

There's always this exquisite brand -- Red Rose.

My Grandma and Mom used to drink Red Rose. She had some little animal figurines from the packages, in the kitchen, too. Nobody in the Midwest knows about Red Rose. I am firmly in Lipton territory, now.

They also have no idea how exciting an Entemann's crumb cake is for breakfast. The stand in the store is usually cookies, donuts, and pound cake. No walnut ring. No crumb cake.
