@Figgy1 , for dinner last night, I used shake-n-bake for the chicken legs. (Although . . . I wasn't looking when I took the box from the top shelf in the cabinet. I accidentally took out the pork chops shake-n-bake box, and didn't realize it until I had covered all the chicken.. :joyfull: )

Anyway, turned on the oven and put out microwave rice cups and a bag of green beans on the counter -- to nuke all those up when chicken was done. Set the table, and then watched evening news.

Came back to kitchen about an hour later, and guess what? I forgot to put the chicken in the oven! :p Hence, there was a "delay" in dinner last night! :hilarious:

I just don’t even understand WDW operations anymore.
Was watchin’ another live stream from today.
CMs haulin’ what look like mini dumpsters through Guest areas, trash on the ground, etc….what the hell is goin’ on…?!?!?!
The whole reason Walt wanted the MK constructed 14 feet above natural grade was to provide the utilidors.
He once saw a Frontierland CM walkin’ through Tomorrowland at Disneyland and knew it completely broke show.
It’s all just up for grabs these days, I guess.
If it wasn’t for Emmy and Audrey, I couldn’t care less about returning to that crap hole again.

Curious -- do all the food outlets (either QS or TS) have access to the utilidors as well? If so, then dumpsters would not be needed.

That said, even if they were needed for (some) trash, I would have thought those would be used only behind the fenced, public barriers in the parks. From my recollection, I don't think I've ever seen a dumpster in the park. I have seen CMs with a broom and long-pole dustpan, to clean up small spills and minimal trash, and that was appropriate.

I think he is referring to the smaller trashcans on wheels that the custodians use to empty the thousands of trashcans in the park. They then have to transfer the trash to the huge vacuum operated AVAC system. As stated below, the trash doesn't walk itself to the collection points, someone has to take it there.

"The trash removal system has 17 collection points located around Magic Kingdom and an underground system of vacuum tubes that suck trash at 60 miles per hour to a compactor located behind Splash Mountain every 15 minutes. From there, it's compressed and removed from Disney property".

Not every single location (i.e. attraction or store) has a direct access to the utilidors so if some items be they stuffed Mickeys or frozen Banana's have to sometimes be brought out to the free standing or permanent sales points would require an external traverse in the parks and what better way would there be than those wheeled containers with the covers. There's always the possibility of absolute need that may or may not cause a break in the fantasy. I know it never bothered me. I could slip in or out of fantasy at the drop of a hat.

There were a few videos shared by WDWNews. Where there was an issue where A LOT.. I mean A HUGE PERCENTAGE of the visitors... trashed the park heavily by loitering everywhere during the fireworks.
They left it worse than a pigsty.

When custodial cast visit each overflowing at times trash cans placed several feet away from the other can the cast have to haul it away In aka mini dumpsters on wheels . I have seen it done at DHS and Epcot.
