Nobody spells my full name correctly, so be it. I've learned as they attempt I just say yes unless it is anything legal or banking etc. Early on in life I didn't care to engage with people why I spell my name the way I do. Actually I have my Mom to blame for that. So I answer yes to however they want to spell it.
My mom's name is Sherri. No one can spell that. She's spent most of her life correcting people. So it's a mystery why she and my dad chose the name Marisa for me, which no one can spell correctly. I've seen it spelled Marrissa, Marissa, Marrisa, and, perhaps the most ridiculous, Merrissa. :banghead: Add an anglicized German last name and no one can spell my name correctly. So glad I've gone by Missy for most of my life. It's pretty hard to misspell that. So people at least get half of my name right

So, today was a great day at DHS - for me, anyway. The other two did a lot of sitting around waiting for me. I told them to go do something else, but they hung around by choice.

We got there in time to use our FP's for TSMM.
Hubby and I rode together. Tammy had her own cart.

That's my score there on the right, in case you were wondering.

Then I rode RRC stand-by/single rider. Great fun! The other two waited.

Then I used my FP for ToT. The other two waited.
Then I used Mike's FP for ToT. The other two waited.
Then I used Tammy's FP for ToT. The other two waited.

Then we had lunch @ Starring Rolls.
Mike and Tammy got the turkey. I got the ham and cheese, because I don't like tomato. (Have I mentioned this before? ;))

Turns out that red stuff isn't tomato after all; so Hubby and I traded.
I ended up giving him half back anyway. :joyfull:

From there we went on Star Tours. Didn't open my eyes once, so I can't tell you how it was.

Next up, The Muppets. Love the Muppets. That particular movie, not so much.
Dropped another $200 in the Muppet gift shop.

We could have walked on GMR, but truth be told, Hubby has had enough of the parks and crowds. We went back to the room. He watched some football, I worked my farm, and Tammy watched Gray's Anatomy on her phone.
Some snoozing may also have occurred.

haha, I love how you used everyone's FP for ToT. This is my favorite attraction at DHS and DW hates it.

Why did you not open your eyes on Star Tours???

Looks like you are having an awesome trip!!! Keep the updates coming!

My life but I stopped caring long long ago. I'd be angry too many times a day over something I can't control.

Star Tours makes my stomach really queasy.
Go figure, I can ride RnRC and ToT a combined four times in 70 minutes, but not the so-called family ride.

I pick out a spot on the floor and stare. I don't do well on that ride. I thought it would be better after the major rehab, Nope.

Hopefully the parks will be less crowded tomorrow, weekend and run over.

Dinner at Raglan Road.

The Irish soda bread is a love it or hate it. I love it!

I got the Bangers and Booz. While there was nothing wrong with it, I didn't eat much of it. I did, however, have 2 1/2 slices of bread and 4 iced teas!

image.jpg

We've had mind-blowing good steak at the Yachtsman and Narcoossee's. What possessed Hubby to order steak here is beyond me. Nonetheless, he ate it all and said it was good.
image.jpg

Tammy ordered the fish and chips. She was quite hesitant, as the last time I ordered this, it was cold and soggy. I had two bites of her fish and a half dozen of the fries. Phenomenal!!

So did you get the snow yet?
Had a dusting this morning, but it got up to 40 this afternoon when the sun came out. Still predicting a winter storm tomorrow with totals between 4-13" depending where it decides to locate itself. Got the snow blower all fired up and ready to go and the chains on the tractor. I figure now that I've done all that, the snow will just peter out! :)

May the force be with you...I am upset down here because our lows will be in the mid 30's because of this front coming through.

Dessert.
I got the trifle. Very good, but I only ate a few spoonfuls of the whipped cream and custard.

Mike and Tammy both got the bread pudding. I'm not a fan of squishy raisins, so this is a big pass for me.
Mike ate every single bite. Tammy ate about half.

Forgot to mention - Hubby also had two pints of Guinness. Pass.

Parts of the ToT building façade were purposely imagineered to visually tie in with the facades of Morocco, because it can be seen from certain angles behind that pavilion in WS. :)

ETA:
This is actually something Imagineering has been keenly aware of, and implementing since day one.
Another example is the Enchanted Tiki Room building in Adventureland. Parts of it can be seen from Frontierland, thus the horned animal heads. :)

And yet they blew it with the Swan and Dolphin which is clearly seen from the WS. Ooops.
