Yeah...the toilet that used to be in my bathroom was never very good, so I learned how to use a plunger pretty young. Mom can use a snake pretty efficiently. Never really saw Dad use either come to think of it.

Although there was that one time B flushed his underwear down the toilet as a kid...there was no using the snake that time; that was a plumber call. 🤣
Traveling in South America , 99% of the time there was a trash can next to toilet. One deposits used TP in trash can due to general weak plumbing . Also why was TP treated like one found gold in the supermarket during Covid was strange.

Plastic hangers do come in handy when you can make them into a long line and unclog a drain. Saves a lot of money on a plumber coming to the rescue.
O.k. I'm confused. I've only seen plastic hangers made in one piece. Are you saying that there are some plastic hangers that actually snap open in sections, to create one long piece?

Some I have used can stretch into a straight pattern to unclog but using a snake helps too.

Why? That's an easy fix with a wrench and wax ring;)
Back when I owned the Residential Care home one of my clients flushed his false teeth down the toilet (accidentally). I had to remove the toilet and run my hands up into the bottom to find them. I did and washed them off with soap and water and handed them to him telling him that as soon as I got the toilet back in place we would disinfect them. While he waited he put them in his mouth and walked away. There are some jobs that just aren't worth the gagging.

Why is there a metal one??? Those are the WORST

I evicted all metal hangers from my closet a while ago. :hilarious:
I think I'm opposite of you. I like the wire ones because I can hang pants on the bottom wire, but I DON'T like the all plastic ones because they are too thick and take up too much room. I can't hang up all the clothes I have. I like a mix of the wire ones and the ones like stores have that are plastic and have the indentation for straps, and don't take up as much room in my closet. To each his own.

I HATE metal hangers. I don't like the way they feel when I pick them up, especially as they got older. My shirts would constantly fall off of them. Minus the three pairs of slacks I still have from my working in the office days (before it was decided we could all wear jeans) I don't hang my pants. They get folded.

I bought these things I saw on a Buzzfeed article. They basically let you hang your clothes vertically so you can hang up five shirts vertically. Saves me a ton of space in my closet.

For most of my married life we lived in a three bedroom ranch. Each room had a closet but they were small and for our room with two adults we had to share that small closet. Those things you are referring to are massive space savers. Five items can hand properly in a space that alone would be 2 items. Don't need them now. My apartment has a walk in closet that is about the size of the bathroom in the house that I grew up in.

It's not only for plumbing alone. Sometimes there are no advanced water treatment plants. So they have to use these composting or bio waste style tanks. And TP does not do well with these.

Paging: @Mr Ferret 88 :

Per the ongoing closet hanger discussion here, I thought I'd ask you: what does your butler prefer to use for your hangers in your closet?

omg Disney is making a live action Moana. ☠️ They obviously haven't learned their lesson yet.
Agree.
It's like they are getting way too desperate after Marvel starting to tank.

They are really burning all bridges on all sides instead of keeping it going.

They are roasting the goose of the golden eggs.

Apparently he uses rosewood and teak hangers.

The only "live action" I'm excited for is the Sword and the Stone because Merlin/King Arthur is my favorite legend and if done right, it could be great.

Let's be honest.....the Jungle Book and Lion King was not live action. The only human in any of those two movies is Mowgli. For the record. I've seen bits and pieces of the Jungle Book (wasn't anything amazing to me) and nothing of the Lion King. It would ruin my favorite Disney animated movie which is the Lion King.
