I think it's partly for their lungs to relax, not to mention the pressure packed pace -- keeping track of all the bids flying at them, from multiple directions!

I don't know what's happening to me as an adult...
Suddenly, I have very strong opinions on hangers and what types of hangers I like...
I have two different types of hangers in my closet for hanging shirts: ones that my mom gave me and ones that I bought.
I have discovered today that I really don't like the ones that my mom bought. They're like the ones you find in stores that are plastic but then have the metal top that turn. Nope. Turns out I want a 100% plastic hanger. I ordered more so I can give her back these others that I don't like.
What is happening? Why do I have such a strong opinion on these?
(When I bought those initially, her comment was "Why did you buy those kind?")

Carolyn and I just got back from a great visit with my Mom and Pop…!!!
So different from a few weeks ago, when everything seemed to be falling apart, health-wise.
Looks like their meds are finally dialed in properly, and they were both in good spirits, and very happy…darn, I love them so very much…!!!!!

Very cool.
By watching all the various older vehicles on the line, it does give you an appreciation for creative style.
You would be in the "purist" group of collectors. (Now, all you need is the money!)
P.S.: Mecum is coming to Houston from April 13-15. Expect to see more works of art!
As donaldtoo also mentioned, so many of these older vehicles were works of art. And as you stated, each brand was so unique. Agree, the SUVs now all look relatively the same -- boxes!
Yes, the older vehicles are just works of art to me.
Just amazing, especially considering the technology (or lack thereof) available back then.

Why is there a metal one??? Those are the WORST
I evicted all metal hangers from my closet a while ago.
Plastic hangers do come in handy when you can make them into a long line and unclog a drain. Saves a lot of money on a plumber coming to the rescue.

I'm not a plumbing expert, but I think metal hangers might work better for that particular exercise

Yeah...the toilet that used to be in my bathroom was never very good, so I learned how to use a plunger pretty young. Mom can use a snake pretty efficiently. Never really saw Dad use either come to think of it.
Although there was that one time B flushed his underwear down the toilet as a kid...there was no using the snake that time; that was a plumber call.
