I haven't been to our regular library since before the pandemic. I have a card with Baltimore County, Harford county, and Enoch Pratt (down in the city). I use all three for their online resources. Baltimore County has their own separate Overdrive/Libby library, and Enoch Pratt and Harford County use the Maryland state one. Which is nice because you just have to live in the state of Maryland to use their libraries, so I can use the others even though I don't live in those jurisdictions, and sometimes the wait-list will be shorter at one library for a book than another, or sometimes Baltimore County won't have a title I'm looking for (annoying) and I can just get it from the other library. Plus Overdrive/Libby works with Kindle. Audiobooks have been my thing lately.

I was just asked to be on our town's library board, so I suppose I'll have to start checking out real paper books again to support the library (I still did occasionally if I couldn't get it on Libby). I have found out that the books downloaded and checked out through Libby don't count for individual libraries' circulation numbers and the circ numbers counts towards funding. I won't give up my digital books entirely though, I love my Kindle!

You don't want to be in Southeastern Wisconsin today. Today is 30 degrees as a high and people woke up to 19 degrees. Friday here is supposed to be 40 degrees. Thursday is supposed to be the hottest at 50 degrees.
No offense, but never have I ever woken up and thought to myself, "Ya know, I really wish I were in Wisconsin." I mean, I've seen That 70s Show; they were all clearly bored... :hilarious:

Carpageddon has begun as ice so now there's a layer of ice under the snow that's now falling. Please send rum:angelic:
I don't have any, but I did read a Star Wars Fanfiction that has the setting you want and also to the position Padme found herself in;). I am referring to Padme woke up beneath of the shade of a palm tree in Tortuga with a half a bottle of rum left.

If @StarWarsGirl is wondering, its a fanfiction of Star Wars Characters in a 18th century Caribbean setting with some Star War Characters as pirates. Padme started as the daughter of a Governor of Jamaica, but now part of pirate crew with her shooting cannons, and using a sword besides drinking rum🏴‍☠️

Be careful what you are saying about Wisconsin...although I'm from Northwestern Wisconsin which is so much better than the rest of the state. ;)

They have some nice, uh....trees? And cheese, I'm a big fan of cheese :hilarious:
Wisconsin has one of the biggest gaming trade shows of the whole United States in the Midwest Gaming Classic. When I am referring to gaming is video games, arcade games, computer games, table top gaming, collectable card gaming, and pinball.

In Wisconsin, they have a tourism spot called Door County. Door County is a peninsula and has islands.

Door County has at least 9 wineries, 2 distilleries, at least 1 hard cider company company, The Distilleries door county has do make moonshine including cherry moonshine. The Door County section of Wisconsin is known for their cherries. The cherries are used for many products in Door County including wine. They do have the Door County Coffee and Tea Company that is known for their Gourmet flavored Coffees.

Door County has a restaurant that is known to have this on the roof during summer months:
