Boy, I'm mad.

I have this one coworker in AR who is being a major pain in my rear. Background: we went through an ERP transformation at the beginning of the year. It's been a major change for everyone. Stuff is broken, not working, etc. For everyone, but the AR team seems to think it only affects them.

Anyway, so part of my job for month end close involves a meeting with them. They normally send me over a file and I send it back to them with comments, and then we meet at the end of the week.

Well, the coworker sent me the file at the beginning of the day. I sent it back. She sent an email while I was at the doctor and said "Oh, you forgot this." Which I did. But then while I was still at the doctor, she sent another email saying "whoops the original file had bad data on it, so we have to start over." I didn't get back from the doctors until 4 pm because my doctor was running behind, and when I opened her file, it was huge and intent on crashing my computer. So I emailed her and told her I would get it to her in the morning. She sends back an email that's super unprofessional saying that's not enough time. I ended up calling my boss because it was so unprofessional and it's the second time in the span of a week I've had an issue with her. So I CC'ed him on a reply, told her we were actually meeting a day later, and that unfortunately, I couldn't get her this file any sooner, but since she had an extra day, this would be the same amount of time as she would normally have for this process.

So she sends back an email "I realize you don't understand how this works so let me explain this to you..." And then two paragraphs about stuff on her end. I'm like...cool, but that still is something you usually do in a shorter time period. So I sent her back another email saying that yes, I understand that it's a complicated process on her end, but that she still had the usual time period, but if this was still an issue, then she and I and my boss (who was CC'ed at this point) needed a workable solution. She had CC'ed her own boss and simmered down at this point.

I'm so over people this week...

What is it with people!!?? I had an issue last week where someone in a completely different department from ours was tasked with getting a PO done. She couldn't figure a certain part out and I tried to help her. In the end, she couldn't figure it out and assigned it to me in our system. She then emailed me and said she didn't have the time or energy to complete it. WHAT??!! Like I have time to do your job too. I was livid and went to our Director and voiced my issue. I also asked how I get a job on campus where I get to pick and choose what part of my job I do and when I get to tell people no, I'm not doing that.....He supposedly called her supervisor.

And the thing was, that was the second time in a week that I've had an issue with her. In my previous role, I used to get requests regarding invoices from our vendors. Our vendors also buy product from us as well as do marketing service. Two different people handle marketing and product invoices; I used to handle the marketing side but haven't for about nine months now. So they emailed me about a product invoice. Which I would normally forward to AR to handle. I got a nasty email back saying that this wasn't an AR question and I needed to forward it to sales. I'm like...uh, no. A question regarding a product invoice comes in, YOU forward it to sales. So I looked up who that account AR rep was (they didn't have a dedicated sales rep) and told them "This is no longer within my scope of responsibilities nor do I have the capacity to handle these types of inquiries." Thankfully, the assigned rep on their team was very nice and was like, "Sure, I'll take care of this!" But I was like...really? Do your frickin' job.

Gideon’s is overpriced too but at least they use high quality ingredients. Can’t say the same about Crumbl. Also, the employees in the store had an attitude that would rival a snooty French waiter. All 3 times I’ve been there.

You know what they say, three strikes and you’re out!
The only snooty French waiter I want to deal with was at Chefs de France pushing around a rat. #bringbackremy

Well, you obviously have not meant my dad. Let's just say he doesn't do well with sexy accents.

Went to Chefs de France years ago. Not sure how long but he can't understand foreigners to save his life.

I don't know about bringbackremy. My younger brother and I had that Remy experience years ago at Chefs De France. It was a weird experience.

I know my parents overheard a question between a customer and a waiter. The customer asked where Remy is and the Waiter said he's dead.

I laughed at first.. then I remember that the old 70+ year old waiter who spoke 6 languages from our trip was called Ronald, aka remmy.. D:

Wait until he has the random Spanish speaker walk up to him speaking Spanish. No asking "Do you speak Spanish?" Nope. Just walking up and speaking Spanish straight up.

This has happened more than once to me in WDW. When it happens now, I pretend I don't speak Spanish even though I most definitely do and am happy to do so...if you actually ask me nicely to speak Spanish. I understand why Europeans get irritated with Americans for assuming everyone speaks English. I get it... it's annoying.
