All the car wash places here are stand-alone businesses. (None are connected to gas stations. May have been different at one point, down in RI, where you are.)
When we were in Wyoming last Summer, we had to wash the car after we slid down the slope of the mountain...it was filthy. While we were in Casper, we went to gas up and there was a carwash attached to it, and it asked if you wanted a car wash, and then you also had to decide WHICH wash option....there were ones that were just the outside, some that were both inside and outside....there were several. Then after you pumped the gas and paid for everything, it gave you a ticket and you drove around to the other side of the building and someone came out and took your ticket and started the cycle you chose.

If you ever visit a Buc-ees enormous facilities for food drink and gas they also have the world record in a size and length of a car wash. Locations mostly in TX, and parts of the South. There is a location off of I-95 in Florence SC.

Winter weather thingy posted for tomorrow night 7 heavy wet ICY inches of carp and maybe 18-24 Friday into Saturday if all goes wrong View attachment 700835
It started raining here early this AM. There is standing water everywhere, and the heaviest hasn’t come through, yet. Fingers crossed it doesn’t go in the basement. But, the temp.is supposed to get up into the upper 50’s, which doesn’t sound like a lot to most of you, but is pretty rare for this time of the year, here Snow back on Friday.

No school/work for us today. Started with a two hour delay and about an hour after that call we were closed. Freezing rain soon turning to snow. Today was parent-teacher conferences, so I'm not sad about those being cancelled. But this is our 8th weather day of the year, ugh. We have have been doing some online days to make up time though.
