If you are talking about those cute strips of salt brine they put down you'd probably get better results just going out and peeing on the road. There really isn't enough salt in that to make much of a difference unless it is immediately when it starts to rain or snow.
As we've discussed for the past few years, will have to agree to disagree. Municipal budgets are tight across the 292 towns and 59 cities here, but they see the benefit in salt brine pre-treatment. (It also lessens the environmental damage, and is lower in price overall.)

@ajrwdwgirl how are you and the pups holding up, up there?
Lots of snow here. My husband tried to let our smallest dog outside but when the door opened the snow was taller than he was (he is about 8-9 inches tall). So the pup just turned around and went back to his crate and snuggled back j to his blanket.😜. Paths have now been shoveled again in the backyard. It is still snowing and windy. Supposed to stop around noon.

My husband wants to go to a funeral today, on a good day it is a 40 minute drive. I don’t think the roads will be good and I don’t think he should go, I sense a disagreement between us. I was planning on going with too.
