Not me, but for different reasons. My unit is set at the same temperature summer or winter. If it is summer it is mostly on Cool and if is winter it is on Warm otherwise I don't touch it. If it's winter and the temperature goes up neither the AC nor the Heat Pump goes on. Likewise in the summer the AC runs when needed and the heat is turns off automatically.

Just the standard 18-55 and a 55-200. I have an ef convertor but the next step up in lenses is more than I can afford right now. I debated going back to full canon DSLR when I bought it but chose this due to the minimal size which makes it easier when travelling.
The DSLR is heavy. I have one and have a 75-300mm lens that I use a lot in AK. It's heavy. RIP my poor back.

I feel your pain, my D500 is full size and weights around 600Kg with nothing on it.
Add the 2 Kilos for the 150-600mm lens and another 1.5 kilos for my 24-105mm F4.. yep..
That thing weights more than a desktop replacement laptop.

Obviously if travelling light is your priority, you could get just 3 lenses in PRIME form.

24mm 50mm and 105mm (or higher) prime lenses.
They are MUCH lighter.

I think the 50mm pancake 1.2F is like.. 200 grams ?
Weights less than your average empty cup of coffee.

Hopefully tonight, there wouldn't be any contestant on Wheel of Fortune trying to outdo what happened last night.

Contestant only had one left and couldn't figure out. This was on the puzzle:
Fre_h Tropical Fruit. Contestant thought the final letter was a g:rolleyes:. Basically the contestant thought the puzzle was Fregh Tropical Fruit instead of Fresh Tropical Fruit.

For those that are wondering, it is Teen week on Wheel of Fortune. The contestant that did that mistake lost a $10,187 trip to Antigua.

I (think) maybe you're (also) referring to the earlier incident on Turn 4, with 80 laps left in the overall race (11 laps to go in that particular Stage, only). Tyler Reddick got turned by a push from Kevin Harvick -- chain car reaction happened with them, and Chase Elliott, Ryan Jones, Ryan Blaney and Daniel Suarez.

The bigger incident was the one that happened right after the Green Flag pit stop, with just 11 laps left to go in the overall race. Tensions run so high toward the end of the 500, and it's like the drivers take more chances -- and just "go for it"! ;)

*********

Here's a bonus tidbit (about umbrellas over the race cars), that I copied from: The Daytona Beach News Journal (2/20, 4:23 pm)--

"Throughout the past few days, it's been common to see crew members shading their team's car, with three or four umbrellas while pushing it to and fro.

Turns out, the bodies of the Next Gen stock car is made of a composite material that may swell by a fraction of an inch in the heat and cause a team to fail technical inspection."

All I know is there was only one pileup/crash before I started watchin’ around lap 80, so about 120 laps to go, and I didn’t keep track of the other pileups after that.
And yep, the closer it gets to that last lap, and you’re in the runnin’, “It’s now or never…!!!” tends to take over…!!! :)

Regarding the umbrellas, I read two online articles regarding such. The sun/heat also affects the Lexan windshields, as if the teams don’t have enough other NASCAR rules carp to worry about…technology, what a concept…solve one problem, create yet another…!!!!! :D :hilarious:

@Figgy1 I attempted to do dip powder nails tonight. I ended up trying one hand, giving up, slapping on some sunscreen, and switching to gel. 🤣 So far my skin feels okay, so we'll see how it feels tomorrow.

They turned out pretty good with gel. Need to watch more YouTube to get proficient with the dip powder. 🤣

Not bad at all and LOVE the color! You may want to use an orange wood stick to clean around the cuticles after each dip, which should be poured not dipped as pouring makes for a more even application

Glad you got some extra work accomplished yesterday. (Still wish you had a day off at home, to eat donuts and watch old movies, though.)

Well, at least I haven’t had to work weekends for the last 10+ years…again…!!!!! :hilarious:
I’ve been workin’ on a few more of those Texas Coastal beach houses again lately, and I really love those projects. The lots are mostly very limited in size, so like fun puzzles, based on client wishes, but also within neighborhood guidelines…!!! :)

I'll have to try pouring instead of dipping next time. It was completely uneven and I was finally like, nope, I know what I'm doing with gel, let's just go with that.
