I could say a few things about the old one. Thank goodness neither kid was into that awful show

So much hate for poor Barney. Our kiddos loved that show back in the day, and all turned out fine.
We, of course, monitored everything they watched back then and saw nothing wrong with it, overall. Other than it could be a bit annoying to us adults.
Haven’t seen any info regarding the “new” Barney, and didn’t even know there was one in the works.
Purple dinosaur, dragon, whatever…!!!!! :D :hilarious:;)

Presidents Day (week actually) always brings back so many happy memories for me. That was when we were either headed for Florida, spending days in WDW or Universal or SeaWorld or Cyprus Gardens or Kennedy Space Center. Just exploring the area, eating at a Cafeteria on 192. I miss those days with my family so much that I can't even express it. I just wish it was still happening, but life goes on and changes are a part of it.

Makes me want to give a little advice... be aware of the importance of doing things now and not putting them off until later. Later comes with demands of it's own that sometimes do not include the ability to do those things. For me they are all memories that are engraved in my brain. I can't always tell what happened in what year, but they are all still there and I flash back often with a smile.

Jimmy Carter entered hospice care. He is the oldest former president.
I am not surprised. Jimmy Carter had medical issues in recent years and is 98 years old.

Most people don't live to be 98 years and he has lived for a very long time.

Also being married for 76 years also is a huge accomplishment. Not many people can stay marry that long. I don't see my parents stay marry that long long on earth to put things in prospective.

I am too young to remember Jimmy Carter as a President. When I was growing up, Jimmy Carter was known for habit for humanity besides being a former president.
