Nutty day! A group called Paramore is having a Global Listening Event for their new album (out next Friday.) Chosen stores will get to play the music early (it gets transmitted to us, we don't get an album) and there are giveaways of posters, 7" singles, and one autographed item at each store. We were chosen, and when Paramore announced it today, our everything blew up - phone, DMs, emails.

They are sending us 250 wristbands, which I thought was nuts. Fewer than 40 people came to our Taylor Swift "Midnights at Midnight" party.

We made our own post about 3 hours ago, and already over 80 people have signed up! We're going to have to put a speaker outside for overflow.

Both can be angels or devils depending on the day.

Or the hour.
I grew up with dogs. My parents had a dog for the first 6 or 7 years of my life and my dads side were dog owners. I had to deal with my allergies acting up at my dad's parents house.

Dogs depends on the breed and how they are trained in terms of good behavior.

I am saying that because my parents had Julie for 3 or 4 years before they were forced to sell her due my younger brother and I's allergies to dogs and Cats. Julie was a well behaved dog. She was a very friendly dog that liked kids, be around the family, and wanted to be petted a lot. I heard the family that bought her from us thought she was a great dog too.

Dad's parents though had at least 2 dogs and were not exactly that best behaved doing stuff like jumping on chairs and couches.

Ice is the worst! Give me snow over that, any day. We have had lots of sunshine here, the past 2 days, but indoor recess for the kiddies at work. It looks like the windchill will get above zero today. A whopping 9 degrees by lunch. The supervisors, and more than a few kids are going to hate me today. Oh well, district makes the rules, not me!

We had some really cold days up in my neck of the woods too, yesterday was a low around -30. There wasn't a lot of wind so it didn't feel much colder than that. I was glad I don't teach the littles because I'm sure that had a stir-crazy indoor recess too.

Never got above 31 degrees here today, but, there was a little melting earlier, I guess due to the suns radiation during the day…?
Fortunately, we de-iced our cars earlier, and there’s no appreciable precip falling right now. But, when I went out to check on things a few minutes ago, all precip that’s left is frozen solid again, and I can still hear tree branches cracking in several directions.
We’ve had power through all of it, but, I sure hope this is our one winter storm for the season…!!!!! :cyclops::coldfeet::cold::hilarious:

And once again, it was warmer in Maryland. I think it got around 44 as the high? But with wind chills, it felt like 30. I thought I was going to turn into a popsicle just from taking the trash out.

Doesn't drop if I'm watching. Say if I watch at night and then turn it on in the morning
Could be something related to inactivity or "sleep mode".

Some TVs have sleep mode where they go into deep hibernation and will disconnect everything after a set amount of time.
Your Router might not like this.
Or worse, the wifi connector card in the TV doesn't "wake up" properly to reconnect to the router.

Yea, it’s not even the cold so much as the freezing rain that came with it. Fortunately, almost no wind to pump up the wind chill factor, but, still annoying enough.
