The problem with the whole thing was not that it wasn't a spectacular night show because it was. The problem and only big mistake was making it so that it had to stay permanently anchored in what was once a very pleasant and relaxing lagoon. I think it was only one of the barges that couldn't be easily removed for the day time. Probably one of the dumbest moves they have ever made. The decisions were made by people that are not theme park people. They don't have a clue what the average guest wants to see. The structure were made completely for the night time audience and it was good for that, but in the day it represented what is wrong with the world today. I shows the replacement of nature with grotesque steel structures that fit like a television placed on the head of an antelope. As a daytime water works display it was ugly and someone needed to go someplace like Rome to see what fountains need to look like to be appreciated.
The irony is that if the tacos could "flatten" themselves during the day, it wouldn't be an eyesore. To be honest, I never even liked the new show.
Granted, I never saw it in person, only on live streams or vlogs. But, the one thing I always appreciated about I:RoE was that it had virtually no existing IP involved. It was all original.
I have no problem with the other Parks and their IP shows, but, then they brought the IP into Epcot with that sick-looking garbage and a bunch of water stunts, and it just ruined it for me. I can see and hear that stuff in Fantasmic or whatever nighttime show they may be runnin’ at MK at the time.
Good riddance.
I hope they do somethin’ original again with the next new show.

The subtly of Disney was thrown out of the water by Cheapek on this show.
I agree, I hate them, mostly for the prep. I don't even mind the results of the prep, it's the procedure to get the result. There has to be a less uncomfortable way to open up the highway, so to speak. My problem is that I was supposed to get my 5 year one in 2020 but the plague hit and they were not doing them except in an emergency. I've had some other medical problems that pretty much filled 2022. My primary doctor was supposed to schedule one for me this year, but I have heard nothing. I, grudgingly will make an attempt ask whether they still want me to have one. The main problem is that in about 7 months I will turn 75 and the VA usually doesn't bother with life extending procedures after the age of 75. I guess they figure... "Oh what the hell, you're almost dead anyway!" Why waste taxpayers money when the most you gain is probably a couple years, if you're lucky. I'm not sure I disagree with that policy.Good news is my blood pressure and thyroid is good, bad news is my doctor wants me to see a gastroenterologist. Doctor wants me to see a gastroenterologist because he wants a colonoscopy done on me since its been 5 years since I had one. Lets say I'm not a fan of the prep needed for it.
At that age it is the only way to get the blood to his head. However considering how dangerous it is for a guy his age to do that (fall over the wrong way and bones shatter) I'd have to say the there is already not enough blood still getting up there. I do give him credit for trying though but I hope he doesn't continue to try it much longer. A broken hip can be fatal at that age.
