This mostly started with the pandemic. I think the kids got bored....remote learning, they were on lockdown, and I think their parents were just too lazy to stupidvise, so they let the kids out when they shouldn't have. I mean, the one kid who harassed A, E, and probably countless others, was a menace BEFORE the pandemic, but I think the pandemic gave parents an excuse to turn a blind eye. "Oh, but they are bored because they don't get to go to school and have to stay cooped up all day, so I HAVE to let them go out in the evening!" I don't know about over there, but over here, things like drug use and alcohol consumption among kids has really increased, and it's all blamed on Covid. "The kids are suffering without their social contacts! They NEED to go to school." The thing is that while they weren't going physically to school, a LOT of them were still getting together outside of school. And their parents felt bad for all their kids were "missing out on", and they let their kids do whatever they want. I think it mostly started because parents were too lazy to pay attention to what their kids were doing, and too afraid to make their kids mad by setting boundaries, so they didn't. And now the kids have just run amuck and it's gotten way out of control.
