Mancini was my favorite Orioles; I'm mad that they traded him. He came up through our organization, got colon cancer in 2020, and then beat it and came back to playing baseball. He participated in the home run derby last year. He's so classy and was a leader in our clubhouse. I'm glad he's getting to go to a World Series...but I'm still mad that they traded him.

I knew nothing of him until I watched game 4.
Hopefully, he gets a ring…!!! ;) :)

As a kid, I was pretty lucky and won a lot of small insignificant things in drawings done during magazine drives in school. I also won a Bicycle at a kids day open house at a local Air Force Base. Top prize for a admission ticket number drawing with over 10,000 other kids in the mix. That disappeared along with my childhood. The closest I ever got after that was in a corporate outing golf tournament where I came in dead last and won a baseball and bat and advised to take up another sport.

In my defense, I had only played golf (very badly) once before with borrowed clubs and had bought the set I used at the tournament at a roadside yard sale for $25.00. A complete set of Wilsons and semi-rotted golf club bag. All of it was at least 40 years old when I bought them. The saddest part of that whole story is that was in 1978 and I have improved only slightly since then in spite of more modern equipment. I can still be a last place contender with very little effort.,

Speaking of which can anyone explain how someone can buy $24.00 worth of Mega Lottery tickets (that's 48 possible numbers) then only match one number and that was a 13? Asking for a friend.
I can't explain about the Mega Lottery tickets outside those tickets claiming you are a unlucky person or a 2nd thing comes to mind. If you use quick picks, there could be multiple lines with some of the same numbers.

Yeah, I thought of that because I do use quick pick, but I never noticed an unusual amount of duplication, some yes! I know me though, by the time I decided which numbers to take, the drawing would be over. 😵‍💫

Great minds! Guess what I was just about to post:inlove::inlove::inlove:
I do miss Buck because he's funny. Like, you see him after a game during an interview and it's like, "did they win? Can't tell by Buck's facial expressions!" So calm and collected...until the few times he would get mad. 🤣 One game he got so mad that he came out and drew the strike zone for the umpire. You're not allowed to do that; he got tossed. 🤣

But Brandon Hyde is also an excellent manager, obviously. Happy for both of them!

Bingo. My excuse to not clean. :p
Me too! What's the use, you clean it and a few months later it's dirty again. It's a waste of time. ;)
I have never used hand sanitizer in my life. I use soap and water only and always have. Knock on wood, but I haven't even had a cold for five years or more. I believe in two things, vaccinations and keeping my immune system working. If you don't expose those systems to the elements they will not work when you need them.
