It's only 37degress here this morning. That's going to put a lot of pressure on my shorts and t-shirt ensemble today. I might have to wear heavier socks with my sandals.

So far, only @ajrwdwgirl and you approve of the food selection for your zodiac sign. The one listed for mine is yucky -- green jello salad?!

That is kind of interesting. Here and in most countries.. you have to "import" the vehicle and "make it regular" by paying taxes and applying for new country issued plates.

Most of the times you only have a small permit, like 1 month or up to 6 months for tourists who come here and will leave.
Canada has a 1 year sort of permit if you are a visiting student if I remember correctly.
Mex has 6 months to 1 year. But its hardly fully policied.

Well, you would have to pay taxes here. You have to pay taxes based on the weight of the vehicle, and you pay those taxes whether the car runs or not. It wouldn't matter where the plates are from. I think. I'm not positive, because we don't get our cars in Germany, so I've never looked into that.

E's is spot on...Mac n cheese, mine is good.....Roasted Vegetables, and my husband's is good....green bean casserole. We're all good except A, but he won't eat any of the foods on the list so it wouldn't have mattered.

I lived in the mountains (Vermont) for close to 62 years. So the besting of me is very welcome and part of the very reasons I don't live in the mountains. I am truly a flatlander now.

I have to dig out my "Move to NC" contract because I'm pretty sure it didn't say anything about any temperatures in the 30's.
