In other news. Got my IELTS score.. Not sure if I should be proud of worried. Got band 6.5 (5.5 listening and speaking as expected, 7.5 reading and 6.5 writing).
This is from a max of 9.

I guess I should be happy since I'm still a non native, deaf dude who was self taught XD

You're very accomplished, and didn't let anything get in the way of your goal.

In some weird news. I tried to sell something in my ebay and found out that you now need to create a separate yet joined account and sign with Payoneer...
Not only that, they have a forced 200 USD limit for selling (wut) and you can't increase it until you have been expending X amount of time selling.

Same to you. I'm going to the meat shop for a steak to grill outside, for hubs and me. Since the daylight is shorter this time of year, it's always a fun challenge to grill in the dark by 6:30 PM, for dinner! (Minnie has a flashlight in one hand and a spatula in the other.) :hilarious:
Solution... Eat dinner earlier. You've reached the age now when even 4:30pm is a late dinner. Waiting that late may cause your AARP membership to be voided. ;)

Steaks on the grill and au gratin potatoes was your dinner last Saturday. We ate by 5:30 so there was no grilling in the dark for us. No grilling this weekend though, too cold. A high of 50 today, so I might be making a pot of soup today instead.

That is one thing that I miss the most is having a place to grill. I used to grill about 50% of my meals but Apartment living doesn't allow that except in a designated area near the pool. I'm not going to haul stuff out there for a simple meal so I have to settle of my George Forman grill. It is quick but doesn't have that flavor.

Both of my daughters have grills at their houses and I have dropped multiple hints to the affect of how much I miss grilled food but neither has picked up on my vailed wording. I must have brought them up wrong. How could they miss statements like "I do miss grilled food" or "I wish we could have grills at my complex". I know they are subtle but they are both college edumacated you would think they might think, hey, we should invite dad over for a cookout. But nooooooo!

The worst part is that grilling is possible all year round down here with no parka or mittens required.

I'm thinking you just need to show up at their house and grill your steak.;)

My dad grills outside on New Years Day even even in the 10s. That being said, My parents do eat the meal inside their house.

Chicken is going to be ordered for 3 dinners worth aka 3 days:happy:. Sides are going to onion rings, breaded mushrooms, and French fries. That Chicken place isn't a chain and only does take out.

That chicken place does have breaded okra as one of the sides you can order.
