My team (or sports person) in Golf just won the PGA Senior tour tournament in Cary, NC yesterday. Freddy Couples at age 63 shot a record breaking 60 in the final round to win. I'm thinking that at my age I should be able to easily shoot my age or lower. 🏌️‍♂️👨‍🦳

Also at the same time in the PGA, ZOZO tournament in Japan, Keegan Bradley, a Vermont native won it. A cool 2 mil. winners check.

If you don't know anything about golf, it's OK because I don't know anything about Hand-Egg either so we are even.

Sorry your team didn't pull through for you. This is why I never watch any team sports at all -- too much anxiety! :p
Is he a Dallas fan? I would think he's a Texans fan. From what I understand is people on that side of the state do NOT cheer for the Cowboys; it's the equivalent of Red Sox fans and Yankees.

Maybe @donaldtoo can weigh in.

I think the Green Bay Packer team I remembered from one year back when I was a kid would give you the most anxiety. There was a Green Bay Packers team one season that had the nickname "the Cardiac Pack". That Packer team was called the "Cardiac Pack due to 4 wins by 1 point each and 6 wins by 3 points or less.

Also that team would cause you anxiety due to the nature of the starting slow in games. Case in point was that Packer was losing 21 to 0 before came back and won 35 to 34. The week after that the Packers lost, but how they would be considered heartbreak. Packers were behind 38 to 7 at halftime, but the Packers lost when their running back fumbled the football at the other team 1 yard line with the score 38 to 31. The final score was 41 to 38 and that fumble ruined the comeback.

That same Packer team would cause more anxiety by losing 21 to 6 going into the 4th quarter, but they won the game 23 to 21.

The price of beef has sky rocketed so we eat steak maybe once a month, eat a lot of chicken and pork and fish. Pasta at least once a week.

Yep, can’t even remember the last time we grilled/cooked steaks.
And, everything is more expensive, but, pasta, chicken and pork here too.
I’m the only one in the house that loves fish, so not so much of that.
DWifey will eat the heck outta’ shrimp though…cocktail, scampi, fried, etc. I love all shellfish, and most anything that comes from the ocean.
Darn. Now I’m gettin’ hungry again…!!!!! :hungry::hilarious:

Yea, I’m not one a’ those over-hyper, crazed, losing-sleep-over-it, face-painter fans. But, it’s still a bummer when the team you’re rootin’ for loses such a close game, especially when there were stupid penalties and other mistakes.
I actually slept pretty good last night…….for once…!!! ;) :)

I/we have been Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns fans as far back as I can remember.
When we lived in No Cal from ‘68-‘76, we also became Oakland Raiders fans.
When we moved back to Texas, we also became Houston Oilers fans.
With all the craziness and passage of time, the Raiders have kinda’ fallen off our grid, although Mom still makes it a point to root for ‘em.
The Texans are, essentially, the Oilers replacement team, and although my MIL roots for ‘em, we’re kinda’ light on ‘em, but, will still root for ‘em too.
Carolyn (DWifey) is actually the biggest Cowboys and Longhorns fan, and will root for ‘em no matter what.
Let’s just say she has Cowboys and Longhorns accessories…!!!!! :hilarious:
