I thought back to when I was a teenager/young adult, and the focus was not to look stupid to your peers. But now, it seems like (some) kids or young adults are trying to out-stupid each other.What the hell can other future morons come up with…?!?!?!

Yikes!!! I didn't hear about that! They mentioned one in Taiwan the other day and that one was only a 6.8 or 6.9! I hope you are safe!

We're a bit far from the epicenter, so most of the aftershocks have been localized near COLIMA and MICHOACAN.
But we had 1 additional aftershock that was felt over here.

It was a minor note on most newspapers since Taiwan is in the eyes of everyone because of China.
Looks like a may be a big one.
Had a free day yesterday so I spent a few hours at the Cleveland Zoo. The fact it was nice and sunny brought the animals out for some awesome photos, plus it was around noon on a school day so there weren't 80 million kids running around.

But baby orangutans as well!

Again, facebook is pure outright cancerous trash.
Their automated processes get everything wrong.
I posted a callout to allow others sellers to do not fall for the scammer that stole my laptop.
There were plenty of positive comments and confirming that he has been doing this for quite a few.
Then the scammer appeared to have reported my posts to facebook.
Guess which side facebook sided?
To make insult to the injury, they have blocked my account for 6 days and can't make appeals.
Infact. Facebook appeals method did not even see the post, they responded in 3 seconds to "confirm" the decision.
Their automated processes get everything wrong.

Oh, are you safe there? Our news over here is indicating that DR got hit hard by Hurricane Fiona!! I hope you are all ok!We live in the Dominican Republic now and my wife and kids have got the thin blood now! I still am hot when its actually hot!

Thanks! We live on the northwest coast so we didn't get anything but lots of rain and some wind for a couple hours. The eastern side of the island is normally what gets the brunt of the hurricanes and there was a lot of flooding and damage over there.

So the big news in the Netherlands tonight is that apparently the entire Cabinet walked out because one of the representatives started ranting about how one of the other representatives did a training program for spies in England (she didn't) and how this college she attended is well known for training spies. So the entire cabinet just walked out on him.
No problem. The benefit of going when it was empty was not having to deal with kids running in front of the camera

I've gotten to the age where most every one I see outside of my senior apartment complex is younger than I am. As far as the residents here I would be afraid to ask their age for fear of finding out that they are the same age or younger. I can't handle that type of revelation. I prefer to deal with younger people and pretend that I am their age.First time I ever started to feel a little old was about 27-ish years ago when I was sent to see a cardiologist that was younger than I was…!!!!!
I’ve mentioned this before, but, the cardiologist was Paul Tucker, father of Justin Tucker…Baltimore Ravens kicker…most accurate in the NFL.
Honestly about 25 years ago I used to hang out with a bunch of guys at work and never once felt uncomfortable about our ages. In fact, it never occurred to me that we weren't all about the same age. Then one day, one of them said, "I thought your name was familiar and then it dawned on me that I was in the same class with your daughter in grammar school." My youngest one at that! That one hit me like ton of bricks.
