We've had a nice stretch of weather lately. Humidity hasn't been bad, and the morning temperatures have been lower than the average for this time of year.

(Next week, I think we get back in the hot yuckies, but for now, I can deal with the weather.)

Back when you were a kid the raccoons in the zoo were in a spot where they could beg for chocolate. Since then they have been moved and put into more secure cages as all raccoons should be The amount of food the fish could eat has always been interesting, surprised they don't eat the geese

For our 5 year our class President and other officers called people with the numbers they knew and spread info by word of mouth. They called my mom and dad’s house and mom passed the message along. I think it was kind of a spread the word type of thing. Once Facebook became a big thing the officers set up a Class page and announced things there. Our class officers were always very organized girls so they are on the ball with that kind of stuff. I don’t think that there is any class money left based on what they have asked people to pay for attending the reunions that have been organized.

It is interesting to see some of the messages that come through the class page occasionally but that’s as far as I want to be involved right now.

Actually, I got the first one wrong. We didn’t have a 5th, but, we attended my 10th and 20th (hey, I’ve slept since then…!!!!! ).
I was contacted for both by snail mail.
For our 10th, we had 3 events. A Friday night mixer at a local country club, a family day the next morning at a local ranch (we didn’t have kiddos at the time, but, many did), and a formal event Saturday night at a hotel downtown.
The 20th was just the formal event, so, way scaled back, as the 3-event 10th wasn’t exactly inexpensive…!!!

I would think a big eater's dream is living on campus in the dorms in college = all u can eat 3 meals a day. Back in the day when I was in school if the main courses were not up to par, there was the stand by grilled cheese sandwiches on the hot line.
