Although I did make it when Dad got me out of bed this morning...it'll be nice when my body finally decides on a better bedtime besides 3 am.

No fireworks tonight for the city I live. They are delayed till tomorrow night due to rain and thunderstorms although I question them happening tomorrow night. The thunderstorms are supposed to be scattered and isolated tomorrow night if the thunderstorms happen. The thunderstorms happening are around 50 percent tomorrow.

Fifteen years in a row -- Joey Chestnut!!!I enjoyed watching the hot dog eating contest only because it was nice to see somebody eat more than either of the boys could. Joey Chestnut a disappointing 63 dogs for the win this year but it wasn't even close as either of my boys could have made top 5
The guy I was watching, Geoff Esper, from MA, did come in second, with 43 dogs in 10 minutes. 
Glad that your boys also enjoyed the "spectacle"!!

I watched the show on ESPN today from 12-1 and didn't see anything like that going on. All I knew was that he had a leg issue (from recent surgery?), and had crutches. Did something happen ahead of the hot dog contest today?

He was well on pace to break his own record today. There was also somebody brought down but off to the right
Security got that person before they could get near the competitors
