That makes sense as that's closer to what most companies deal with in the real world. As bad as real world fraud is the sad truth is most of it is boring and that's how it manages to fly under the radar hence classes that make you want to roll your eyes.What I thought I would be studying when I started taking Accounting fraud: Theranos, Enron

My other favorite was one that I found from a McDonald's employee. He would order the same items (which was a fake transaction) and then put them back in as a return. The exact order, never changed it up. When questioned about why he did the exact same order, he said, "Because I'm stupid."That makes sense as that's closer to what most companies deal with in the real world.
