You know facebook moderation team is absolutely **** tier, that replying a political thread with some evidence is considered "bullying". (note I had only replied to this person for the first time).

Zuck is convinced that algorithms are enough. Nope...moderation requires human eyeballs and actions.
Part of the reason I don't do facebook

UNBIASED eyeballs.

Ironically, you know either the moderators are biased or its all incorrect algorithms when the "review" only took them 15 seconds to claim their ruling was correct..

Anyway they seem to have added a new "third party board" resolution method. Well see how it works.

Throughout the pandemic, I've been sporadically attempting to counter disinformation in our town Facebook group. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME, without fail, I get flagged as spamming because I type fast and am usually responding to more than one conversation at a time. Then I can't comment at all for however long the penalty is. It's infuriating.

Yep, The other issue is, why I am being blocked on my own page if my "penalty" was based on a public group?
Why I can't even comment on my friend's or family conversations because of a group ruling?

And Its pretty obvious that the group moderation are selected by groups. Not by Facebook itself.
So they are self ruling. As I had no issue with other groups except this one where I kept getting reported by griefers.

ON the good side: They no longer block you completely.
This last "ruling" only prevents me from posting images and I'm supposedly "relegated to low priority" in the comment section.
Also another infuriating thing of facebook. Where their crappy algorithms decide what is "relevant" and what is not. Making comments and replies TO YOU disappear and be very hard to check.

The issue with groups is that things can get reported to both the group admins/moderators and to Facebook. If the group admins/moderators give you a penalty, it's limited to that group. If Facebook itself gives you a penalty, it applies to all of Facebook.

OMG...the relevant comments thing...it makes commenting on videos or pages and seeing responses to your comments a nightmare.

Follow up to the city zoo breach yesterday. Man appeared in court today and plead not guilty to two arrest charges.

Claimed "a lady" let him in to the zoo (before opening hours???). Said he wasn't encroaching on the tiger's territory, and he thought it was o.k. "I just wanted to get close to it. The tiger growled at me and that was all . . . I didn't realize I was trespassing or anything." 🤦‍♀️

Meanwhile, preliminary investigation by State Trooper's -- Zoo security staff ran to detain the man, as he tried to break into tiger enclosure. Troopers have video of the man scaling multiple fences, trying to get to the tiger. He also avoided multiple POSTED SIGNS advising the public to stay out of that area.

Judge ordered him to stay away from the zoo until further notice. He has to appear back in court in April.

I'm surprised there wasn't a court ordered psyche eval

Oh, I am so glad I no longer have AT&T. They have interrupted Dad's service twice to tell him he needs a new phone. Technically he does not; it's a 4G phone. They wouldn't let him use his phone without speaking to them. He asked them to call my mother since the account is in her name...they were insistent. So I got on a reamed them out.

They're sending him a new phone. But good lord. 🙄

Nothing much going on here today -- 30s, 40s in the afternoon. Cloudy. (Rain tonight.)
That is not the case here in Southeastern Wisconsin. Public school system had to cancel school today due to weather. People also been getting hurt hurt. I did not get hurt today.

The issue was not snow. The issue is freezing rain and sleet and the road are bad.

The weather is so bad today that one of the largest private healthcare systems in the United states is experiencing a lot of people in emergency rooms in Southeastern Wisconsin. Basically the Southeastern Wisconsin branch of that private healthcare system is seeing more than double the number of weather-related injuries today than typically see during a winter day.

Right there with ya! Hubby was on the phone with them for almost an hour today. They dropped his Dad’s phone plus their tv went off. Bill is paid up so why? He spoke to 3 different people. They also were going to charge a $100 fee for the service tech to come check it when AT&T cut it off for no reason. Hubby lost it. He said there was no way they were paying that and he would call the utilities commission. They dropped the charge and are mailing a new modem. No one could ever explain why they dropped the phone service. 🤷🏻‍♀️
