touch and gos are normal.
pilots actually are told that its better to "go around" than force a dangerous landing.

Yep, if they’re not lined up properly enough, or there’s a crosswind, or even a head-on gust that delays an already precarious touchdown, they need to be able to hit the throttle and go around again.
In near-perfect weather, many of those big planes can practically land themselves, but, throw in some crazy weather and the pilot definitely needs to be on their game.

@Swarls Barkley --reminder that tomorrow is the Daytona 500. Green Flag at 2:30 PM (Eastern Time). Not sure if you can see it "live" over in your area of the world, or if you maybe see it on delay?

I’m not much into “Left, left, left left, left, left, left, left, ad nauseam” car racing, but, I may even tune in tomorrow…with football season bein’ over, and all…!!! :D ;)

Been watching it this afternoon. Sold-out crowd. Had to chuckle at this one woman I saw in the crowd, who brought her little dog with her?! She actually had headphones on the dog's ears, to muffle the sound of the engines. Good grief! 🤦‍♀️

Waiting for later in the race when the drivers pick up the pace, and start taking more strategic chances. (I also like watching when some of them race 3 across, around those high banks at Daytona. )

Have actually been watchin’ most of it. Still not a huge fan, and probably never will be, but, I enjoyed the crash on lap 65 (nobody was hurt)…!!!!! :D
Yea, on the strategy…the one driver, Larson, was in the lead for about a lap, then quickly dropped back to 9th…perhaps playin’ sleeper to then pounce later…? But, now he’s in 20th position…?! 🤷‍♂️

Larson is now in 14th position. Perhaps that one lap lead was just him stretchin’ his cars legs to see what it’ll do…? All still in it will definitely be be rampin’ up for their finishing strategy/moves.
