OK, again, let me clarify…
I could pretty much drive a golf ball a long way, and pretty straight, and putt decently…it was always, for lack of a better term, the middle game that killed me…irons and myself just never got along…!!!!! :hilarious:

That's no reason to stop. For one thing, beer is a big part of the sport. I've been playing for 43 year and I suck. But I was never athletic and golf was a game that I could play. All I had to do in my younger years was just play with people that sucked equally. When I got older I just played for those freak occasional good shots. Right now my legs have gone south on me so I am temporarily a non-golfer. Hopefully the Doctors can find a way to fix my issue. The 3rd time I played, it was in a corporate vendors tournament and came in dead last. I did get a prize though, they gave me a baseball bat and told me to take up another sport.

Yea, pretty much sucking at the game, in and of itself, wouldn’t keep me from ever playin’ again.
It’s just that opportunities have been few and far between in recent years.
