We are ringing in the New Year with sunshine as well and negative temps. This morning it was -9 and will get to a high of 1. Tomorrow it should be a balmy -19!
Today I would rather have sunshine and cold than it be a little warmer and have snow.
The NHL outdoor winter classic game is this evening and in Minneapolis. Hubs and I had thought about getting tickets and now I'm glad we decided not to, it is on track to be the coldest winter classic game yet. We will watch it in the comfort of our home.
And Happy Birthday to your Pops!

I can recall so many New Years Day snowstorm and/or sub-zero weather. My daughter was born on the 16th of January and it was -36F that day. That is when the temperature had me day dreaming about my end of February WDW trip. Now I start to shiver at 40 degrees and wonder how I ever survived that garbage. We just had too, I guess! Right now here in Raleigh it is a crisp 77F. Me likes that a lot. However, they are calling for Monday afternoon snow flurries.We are ringing in the New Year with sunshine as well and negative temps.
