Other crazy thing…
Back when I worked at the Disney Store, those ornaments were priced between about $3-$8, now they’re all around $25…!!!!!

What we ordered this year was under $20 but I get it. But as usual I got them on sale with a free shipping code

Bummer, but she's being careful for the wellness of family, so It's understandable. As you've mentioned, WDW will be around for a long time, so they will get a chance to reschedule in the future. And as Emy and Audrey get a little older, the experience will be even better for them to enjoy!

Left the supermarket at 730am. They open at 7. All I can say is good luck later today.

The store was still decently empty when I left but the one I went to opens at 6

So, we ordered Chinese for dinner, I've got my comfy PJs on, and we're going to watch the press conference about the lockdown starting tonight, and then maybe a Christmas movie. Making lemonade out of lemons. Can't go anywhere or do anything....no zoo for me, which was supposed to be my birthday present, so if we're going into lockdown, I'm going to do it in comfort! PJs, comfy blankets, takeout so I don't have to cook....maybe some hot chocolate with peppermint later...not a bad way to spend an evening!

Lots of love for a movie in PJs day. That's my plan for this afternoon! I did my grocery shopping, got in several miles in between the rain and dropped packages so I'm a bit wiped

Yea, that’s better, but, they were shopping at WDW too, which is probably more expensive to begin with.
But, still, $20 is still substantially more than double the top end of what I remember from having worked for the DS less than a decade ago.
When they do their shopping, I gasp at most of the prices…a “spirit jersey” for $80…what the hell even is that…?!?!?!
