Post of the day!We may get snow on Christmas
It's the one and only one day a year I won't complain about it.Post of the day!
Nope@Mr Ferret 88 , any long-range weather forecast for the Island, for Christmas Day? Hope you and Mrs. Ferret get at least a little snow.
I think pretty much any fluids are pretty good just to keep you hydrated. And the steam from soup is probably also helpful. I'd avoid anything spicy, though, as that could irritate your already sore throat.I did indeed get what I was in the mood for. Mmm....egg drop soupView attachment 607636
Are you familiar with how the song Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer begins? "You know Dasher, and Dancer, and Prancer and Vixen....Comet, and Cupid, and Donner, and Blitzen. But do you recall.......the most famous reindeer of all?" Then the part everyone knows starts...."Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer....had a very shiny nose. And if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows. All of the other reindeer... used to laugh and call him names." except this guy implied in his joke that rather than "All of the other reindeer" it said "Olive, the other reindeer...used to laugh and call him names." So the name of the "other reindeer" is Olive.huuuuuuuu, I still do not get it ( o _ O )) Y'all are so weird
I left my doctor speechless one time when he asked me if I drink enough liquids a day and I told him that I drink a lot of unsweetened Iced Tea. He said, tea is a Diuretic so I should drink more water. I asked, "explain to me how if I drink a lot of iced tea which is 99.9% water that my body that can extract needed nutrition from the food I eat can't separate that 99.9% of water from that .1% of tea". Wouldn't that mean that the more Iced Tea I consumed the better off I would be? I continued the no reply conversation by pointing out the he prescribed a Diuretic for my Hypertension anyway so why is that a problem? He change the subject. I'm not a doctor I just think about weird things on occasion.I think pretty much any fluids are pretty good just to keep you hydrated. And the steam from soup is probably also helpful. I'd avoid anything spicy, though, as that could irritate your already sore throat.
Stolen.
Reported. To PETA.
Drew Barrymore thought the same (as a kid) and she produced this holiday special:Are you familiar with how the song Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer begins?
