81 at the moment, low of 73.

No worries, we had a high of 81 on Thursday, and a high of 78 yesterday. And, as per usual, it’ll warm up again in a few days…!!!!!

Hello roomie. I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out how to transport my full chest freezer and pantry so patience is appreciated

Lots of love for a movie in PJs day. That's my plan for this afternoon! I did my grocery shopping, got in several miles in between the rain and dropped packages so I'm a bit wiped

I dozed off for about an hour during the Santa Clause I needed it

We had a little sleet for a short while around 3 PM. It's been snowing ever since, but not heavily -- looks like maybe an inch out there now. I think the most we're supposed to get overnight is 3 inches (amounts vary widely by region). Looks really pretty!

And, in other great news…
We cancelled/postponed our late January WDW trip.
Megan doesn’t want to travel with the damndemic carp picking up again. She thought we would be upset. No, we all have to do what we think is best for our loved ones.
And, I’m pretty sure WDW isn’t going away anytime soon…!!!

It is a smart decision. There is thing to look at for rescheduling the trip. There will be more attractions open.

Those expressway ramps remind me of when visiting Houston.

Watching some Christmas shows tonight: Charlie Brown, Rudolph and Frosty. I can't believe it is so late in the season and we haven't watched them yet. Must of been all the Hallmark movies getting in the way!

Those expressway ramps remind me of when visiting Houston.

Yea, it’s crazy.
The road we’re on used to be a two-lane shoulderless ranch to market road, and the toll road connected to it that some of the ramps are coming from didn’t exist, although the main highway crossing it did, but, it was just a two-lane divided highway, with lights and crossovers, and is now a 4-lane expressway with no lights.
That was 46+ years ago, and much change is to be expected, but, there are many parts of this area that I don’t even recognize anymore, and more and more folks are coming to this part of Texas every day. Just numbing, to a certain degree…

The on ramps / off ramps were so high off the ground level in Houston I couldn't believe it. What engineering marvels were done in that city when I visited.
