Actually, he is right on with his opinion about Honda's! Although they made some pretty cool motor bikes back in the mid-60's.

The Honda's are fast in Auto racing. A Honda driver won the Indycar championship. Red Bull Racing uses Honda's in formula 1. Max Verstappen is a Red Bull Racing driver and and he is leading the F1 drivers championship using Honda's with a 19 point lead with 4 more races to go.

My comprehension of barbeque is
TX - incredible stuff not needing much sauce
NC- good stuff , mustard or vinegar based
St Louis - saucy saucy barbeque

A guy from the USA and his business partner from the UK opened up a barbeque place in the UK several years ago. It was a big hit.

I prefer TX and still have good memories of eating awesome dinners.

One of the many places with awesome BBQ here in Texas is Louie Mueller (pronounced “Miller”) BBQ. It’s up the road a little piece in my MIL’s hometown of Taylor, Texas.
They won a James Beard award in 2006, and have been featured on Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives” at least 3 times over the years. He absolutely loves the place…!!!

My brother visits Austin on business trips. He loves eating at the Salt Lick.

Last time my brother was in Austin, there is even a Salt Lick at the local airport for all to experience and enjoy. Its better than the airline food!

The turkey and ham are safely in the freezer but the guys are still debating if they need a brisket for Thanksgiving

Yes, there are 3 of them locally.
The original in Driftwood, Texas, just outside of Austin, the one in Round Rock, where I went to HS, and the one at the airport.
There was also one just down the road from the office in an affluent neighborhood before the “damndemic”, but, it’s now closed.

TX barbeque is next level. It makes Sonny's BBQ in FL, GA, NC, SC tastes like Disney food.

That is more than what the family has for Thanksgiving main dishes. We have side dishes, but no need for multiple main dishes. The turkey is the main dish. The sides are cranberry sauce, mash potatoes. Sweet Potato casserole, stuffing, and vegetables.

The best way is look at the difference between appetites is take a look at mom. When mom goes out to eat for her birthday, she can't eat a slice of birthday cake at home. She likes going to a Supper club. What happened is the meal makes her full despite taking food home. We have appetizer, soup, main course, and dessert. The answer for her is not have the cake on the same day.

Your boys on the other hand have appetite of t-rex. That means there is no left overs and would want multiple pieces of cake at home each after having dessert at the supper club.
