When we got back to CSR, we walked over for coffee. Tam came with us, so clearly on the mend.

Half day at DAK tomorrow - if only for that infamous entry shot. You know, the one where you get the person to stand in front of the ANIMAL KINGDOM sign, and you position them so they block the "IM".
Yes, I am that immature!

I love those windows at the studios.

I have a soft spot for Osborne lights. First Christmas and only Christmas my folks came down with us. It was the Original down the Residential and NY streets ending at the Nativity scene. The first time I saw the new Osborne was the trip on my DDs 16th birthday and my DS college program. We were in the parks and had checked in very late (planes) the night before however my DS didn't get off until evening and had not seen him yet and had not seen him in almost 4 months. He was going to meet us in that mess of guests, lol. He called to tell us he popped in the back side and my DD was trying to guide him to us (or so we thought) he actually had found us in the mess of guests and was standing directly behind us the whole conversation. It was good to see him and then I took him to the barber at the MK the next day for a needed haircut.

The sky writing doesn't bother me but I do find it very forward. I hope the individuals are equally as gracious when the day comes when other religious beliefs are written in the sky exercising their freedom of religious expression. The no fly rule has helped with some of this, when my children were small the planes use to pull banners over the parks advertising other smaller venues and other things.

I looked at your food and went and made toast.

Tammy had 3 bites of the sampler platter. I ate about half (along with a milkshake!)

(You can actually see the three missing bites - I forgot to take the photo first.)
Tammy and I always split this meal. Usually, between the two of us we can finish it. She didn't pull her weight this year ....
Mikey had the stuffed pork chop. It was delicious! I had one bite, and then he let me gnaw on the bone.

Tammy and I skipped dessert altogether. Mike got the Dad's sundae, but forgot to take a pic.

Hmmm....I think I shall try that pork chop next trip! Love Mike's necklace, I want one!

Tammy looks pretty good. Smart not to push the food too quick.

You know what's funny?
It is pretty. I actually like the new decorations on Main Street.

Last time I was there around Christmas time, it was early December 2010. A cold front came in, which took temperatures to around freezing. DW and I rode Astro Orbiter, where she let me hide behind her so I could block the wind from my face. She did not get mad I was a wimp and took the wind in her face like a champ, so I proposed like 30 mins later.

Isn't CS pretty at night to walk around. I loved it, I'd go out of my way to walk out of my way to go past the main pool on my way back at night. I liked walking the bridge walkway. That trip I was mostly solo, it was nice to have the grounds to wander while I waited for the internet to connect on my laptop.

Awe, how sweet. Where was the proposal?

We've never done a Cold Christmas, we missed one cold snap by a day on our 2.5 Christmas trip. First day I guess the boats ran from POR in a week but we did both water parks that trip, in the days both were kept open for the busy season.

Sleeting here now. Supposed to see some white stuff this weekend and colder temps. Just over a week ago they proudly proclaimed that November would be below average precipitation and above average temps here. Yep, wrong again... :(

Yep and we should enjoy it. Did you see what the dang Canadians are sending us next week? When @JenniferS steps off her plane next week she will be a Popsicle. We had a few spotty flurries today that is all so far, we got more last week.

I ended up going for cheesy in front of the castle. I had like 5 different ideas...at different parks, resorts, etc. But I decided to just wing it when I felt the time was right. I did get it on film though, which DW appreciated. I asked another couple to take our picture, and when I handed them my phone, I whispered to them that is was set on video and to just record everything.

Awe, I love hearing love stories. Time is right is better than over thought, comes from the heart then. I bet the couple enjoyed being part of what unfolded before them. I would.

In front of the Castle is where our son-in-law proposed to our oldest DD, on our July of 2012 trip, on her 21st b-day! :)
He had long before asked for our blessing and we all knew about it, except her.
It was one awesome day, and we have plenty of pics and video, as well...!

That is EXACTLY, word for word, what I was going to reply, until I decided to get silly with the dingoes.
I could NEVER take a knife to that cake...
Yeah, I could - no problem.
It's so creepy and gross, I would be happy to put it out of its misery.
