My brothers liked her, too.

Jethro used to make me laugh with his breakfast cereal -- an entire box of corn flakes! :hilarious:

I’m sure I’ve posted this before, but, I won this huge bowl at an elementary school carnival way back in the day in San Jose. Every night before bed, I’d fill that thing up as high as it would go with Sugar Frosted Flakes and milk, as my nightly “snack”…my parents nicknamed me “Jethro” for several years…!!!!! :hilarious:

Hey, does your son take after you? Just wondering if he celebrated his recent birthday, with a nice huge bowl of sugar frosted flakes for breakfast, perhaps? ;)

Climate change is the real thing. Global warming is just part of it. I noticed things changing over 25 years ago. That was without anyone telling me. I noticed that even in Vermont there were no where near the number of extremely cold days as there had been when I was a teen or even when my kids were young.

Unfortunately, those with no idea about anything still call it Global warming and like those that can't stop calling DHS, Disney/MGM Studios because of the force of habit, the phrase just stays there. Climate change is a natural part of this planet. Whether or not we played a huge part in it is still up for debate. They only thing we might have done is speed it up, what is happening was going to anyway. What they need to do is stop trying to blame people for it and instead just tried to find a way to slow it down more might be happening to combat it.

Let's have this discussion again when your next February/March Nor'Easter hits. This really isn't going to change completely before you have time to pack up the two stories and go to a generally warmer winter location.

Also the food ( chinese, diner, pizza, bagels, etc ) is better in Jersey, NYC, compared to us in the South. I laugh when I see "NY Style Pizza " advertised in my area.

Not a problem for me, I don't care all that much for NY Style Pizza anyway. To be fair though the north has lousy grits, hush puppies and ribs. And the north just about never even heard of string beans fried up in bacon grease. I'm still not sure how southerners live past 40 years old.
